At the end, why not black queen to F8? After white moves his king, black blocks with quern. Trade queen for bishop...

Being an intermediate is strange because I saw f4 but would've absolutely lost this game. Blocking the queen trade and giving up the f pawn looked good to me since you had the bishop pair and black had no black bishop so opening up the center really looked like it just locked all of blacks minor pieces in the center of the board with your rooks coming in to support with tempo. I say that I saw that but if I were to see it in an actual game I'd probably play it and then make a mistake, lose tempo, then lose the game because of not capitalizing properly. Oh the joy of mediocrity.

Hello Nelson; I've been enjoying your channel and the "how each side is thinking" approach. For this game at around the 21:00 - 22:00 mark I was wondering about a knight sacrifice with white knight d5->f6. It forces a take response by the pawn which would open up a hole in the king pawn defense, doubles up the f-file pawns, more heavily blocks in the rook (and it wouldn't be able to defend the lead f pawn), and if the knight on g6 stays, it could be pinned by a queen or rook on the g file. I often wonder about sacrifices, especially ones that offer up longer term benefits at the cost of fewer pieces to handle mid-game positioning. Thanks again!

At 21:30 is it better to sacrifice the knight on f7 rather than the pawn push? If king recaptures, the pawn push comes with check. If the rook recaptures, you take back the knight immediately. Then the pawn move is still a threat. Doesn't look like it's easily defended.

The carnage on king side in trap 16 might leave your opponent thinking they trapped you, LOL. Not sure I'd want the bishop in exchange for that wrecked defense.
