I found the queen sacrifice move, but not because I properly calculated. It's because I was thinking "what's the most unintuitive-looking move possible?"

Love it. Opponent threatening mate in one too, so all move had to be checks. I easily would have got drawn to think safety and forked the queen because of it rather than finding this.

Beautiful game! The "Nelson Immortal." By the way, there's another variation you didn't show at the end there. After 1.Qxa8+, suppose Black plays 1...Ke7. There's still a mate in 4, but it's not totally obvious.

Hey Nelson, I have a great video idea for you, and it hasn't been one I have seen before, but maybe someone has done it. The idea is "how to improve at chess using bots". The "secret" I found is playing the bots with just the eval bar on. For example, I really had a lot of fun playing the 1300 bot Nelson, who notoriously brings his queen out early. I found playing this way, was really fun, as it was a challenge to find the correct move, to keep the eval bar up. I was surprised at some of the moves that kept the eval bar up, and learned quite a bit while having lots of fun! After playing Nelson for over an hour, I learned how much a bringing the queen out early can be extremely exploitable, and Nelson is actually pretty simple to beat once you can identify some of attacking moves to execute in the early opening to give yourself a decisive advantage. I think many other of your viewers would enjoy trying this out. If it doesn't make a video, hopefully this comment will get some attention for some people to try out this challenge.

Nelson i would like to suggest a recap of the round 4 game between Anna Myzychuk and Lei Tingjie because it had a very interesting and instructive endgame lesson of king & rook vs king & 2 pawns which actually black drew because white missed the right conversion technique. If you know the technique it's a clean win but i bet most people would make the same mistake white did.

Excellent game as always. Also there is a third way to win - After White QxRc8+, Black Ke7, then White Qd8+, Black Kd6 then White Pe5+, Black Pxe5, then White Pxe5#. I think @JohnDoe-ti2np also may have seen it but didn't write the solution.

I hate opponents who resign M1s. Literally takes longer to move your mouse to the resign button than just making the move; only reason to do it is to spitefully deny your opponent the satisfaction of the checkmating move, cut them off mid sequence
