    Hey thanks for the video, what would you recommend for someone who's planning on wearing a mini braids for a month? Will washing the minibraids with shampoo completely remove the grease? And can i seal them with grease the same way or have to take them out every wash day?

    Question : I have been washing my hair every two or three days with the head and shoulders moisturizing shampoo , blue magic conditioning hair grease, and the silk elements shampoo and I keep my hair in a protective style and I began to notice my hair is breaking off from a simple touch while in the protective style.what should I do?

    Yup. White people take just as much time doing their hair, and they actually have to do their hair everyday vs us curlies who just do our hair once a week or once every few weeks.

    And my hair is fine and thin but im afraid to cut my ends. I did once which I believe it was a no no. Ihave been trying to grow my hair since I lost all my hair years ago from Leukemia. It seemed like it was growing for a little a while now I feel like its just thinning and has me scared because it takes so long for my hair to grow. Idk what to do 😢

    Hello there, Mrs. Mississippi! I'm new to your channel, so please feel free to direct me to another video if you've already covered this, but I was wondering: do you recommend butters for folks who don't use petroleum-based grease?

    Came across this video after looking for ways to change my hair routine. I'm not natural, I'm relaxed (recently finished a 15 week stretch), but I appreciate any hair care tips I can get. I used to have hair down my back several years ago and watching this video reminded me how I used to wash my hair about twice a week and was experiencing less breakage and more length retention. I've also recently realized how much protein I have been using on my hair that has caused extra breakage and just clarified it and sticking to moisture products and hot oil treatments only. I already felt a difference when rinsing out my conditioner today. Thanks for this video and for thanks to the other commenters sharing their feedback. 💜

    Hi quick question I have very soft curly hair it’s in locs can using a metal pick cause breakage also when new hair grows is it softer texture and gotta thicken up overtime

    Hi! All styling tools can cause breakage. I think new grown is softer cause it’s covered in sebum and the harsh shampoo hasn’t gotten a chance dry it out.

    God gave me the idea to start washing my hair more frequently. I started washing my hair in my twists every 2-3 days and then putting coffee and clove water before sealing with a butter/grease and a massage and my hair has grown .5 to 1.5 inches across my head and it’s only been two weeks. I’m still in disbelief honestly. I had to rebraid my hair to make sure it was growth and not loosening😂 Although I will say that I also eat very healthy and do mild exercise so that plays a roll. I think it’s very possible for black hair to grow fast when we not only care for the hair from outside but inside as well. Maybe I’ll update after a month to see how much growth I have.

    I noticed when I flat iron my hair, I see tangles and knots and the ends. It may be due to not getting all my tangles out or dried out ends I guess. TFS.

    Question!: I often put my hair into twists and I regularly wash my hair every 2 weeks while they're still in the twists. Should I just do the grease regimen once every two weeks, then?

  • @mrs.mississippi5035
    @mrs.mississippi5035Ай бұрын

    Hi, I don’t suggest washing the hair in twists. You want to make sure the shampoo can thoroughly cleanse each strand of hair. There is no specific timeframe to do the regimen.
