I want to take this opportunity and deeply thank you for the care and the attention that you were paying to this child's hair normally you see black people deal with my peoples here at the tugging at the hair that hits the head of the child snapping back and forth the child is crying a hair is breaking off your raking it is just so Violet and so mean and the point that you are showing people how to exhibit care with 4C hair is magnificent and it's a shame that you even have to do this but we have been conditioned and told that this is bad hair and that you have to do these really rugged things to it in order to beat it down into submission but the point. I trust the ancestors will continue to bless you.

OILS work wonders on that more than water. I like olive oil

That's how my hair get when I take my hair down after a protective style. The buildup is hard.

Hi! It’s probably from sweating while the buildup is there, or if you spritz some kind of liquid on it. It softens and then turns hard.

I really wish I could see live sebum somewhere because I sure can't find it on my scalp or in my hair. The closest I've come to that is chewing gum getting in my hair. Hope you guys have been well, happy Saint Patty's Day or the day after!😊

This maybe why I'm stuck at bra strap length. Alot hair fall happens when I shampoo/detangle my hair.

Hi! Yes, it could be! I find when it congealed like that, and shampoo touched it, it gets even harder and the hair for sure breaks.
