I have learnt that l need to keep my hair wrapped up, it actually promotes hair growth, because that heat created in the head wrap helps with blood circulation, keeps hair from outside elements 🥰

Twists are magic for retaining length for me, I’m on my 2nd month of mini twists for length retention and loving it! Washing and retwisting, so easy and quick tbh

Thank you, always helpful. Surprised you didn't use grease to seal and hold in moisture first, though. But I understand when somewhat damp hair is fully wrapped, it can cause a sour smell to happen. (I seal damp hair then let it finish air drying in braids before wrapping, but mine is not nearly as thick as yours...LOL).

Loving the washing/rinsing every 2-3 days. My hair is growing but my crown is painfully thin. I am using grease and water only. I do apply biotin serum on my scalp. What can I do to get my crown area to grow and what can I do to get my hair to thicken up?
