If a cheap super slip conditioner is applied and worked through the hair and rinsed well before applying the shampoo the grease will be removed.

I had a consultation with Mrs. Mississippi on Saturday and I’m so glad I did! Thank you so much for the wealth of information, your patience and kindness and taking the time to educate me about the challenges I’m having with my hair. I’m going to trust your process and remove all of the products out of bathroom that I don’t need! After our consultation, I’m feeling hopeful and I’m gonna buy another jar of Blue Magic tomorrow so that I’ll have enough for the winter months here in New England! 😅

Yay,💃💃 Mrs Mississippi you are back after a while 😔 It was last week that I came on to your channel after noticing I didn't get a notification for any of your videos for some time. So I went to check on you and discovered you hadn't posted in two months. I didn't know how to contact you to know if you were okay. I hope you are great.

Should I dilute stripping shampoo? I'm worried about any possible adverse reactions from the hair/scalp? I haven't used shampoo in months (dont judge me) but have a lot of buildup of blue magic hair grease in the upper strands of my hair near the roots. I don't want my hair to fall out or something.

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

Hi! I don’t diluting the shampoo will be the best option when using hair grease because it might not be strong enough to remove the grease and oil layer.

  • @MoniMeka

Don't dilute it. Also, please use a clarifying shampoo to get the grease off your hair. Don't use a moisturizing one. Use it after you've clarified it. Grease is heavy, and can be hard to get out so you need something strong. You need something that will strip (clean) the hair of all that buildup.

@MoniMeka I agree. I have a clarifying shampoo bar, and it works better than the moisturizing shampoo I used to use. My hair is still manageable if I pat dry it and leave it damp, and quickly apply the grease. Then I detangle and style.

People are actually putting grease on their hair!! What!!! 😮 A light moisturizer and light oil on the scalp is what I thought most women did. Grease has alot of petroleum and cakes the hair up too much.
