Hi Heidi I’m JuliAna that is the top of my head and the after with me bending over is the top of my head as well I obtained over 2.5 inches all over front sides top and back The crown /top of my head/scalp was my main concern as you can see you it was less than an inch way less so it’s definitely apples to apples Ii specifically took the photos of the top of my head to show the Queen her method worked wonders for me and yes I did retain very good growth and increased density and still growing it’s so simple took me way too long to actually do it Thank you so much for your comments 🙏❤️

I'm a GenXer and have been Natural when it wasn't popular. And having a Black Man tell me, I SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF MYSELF FOR WEARING MY HAIR AS SUCH. HAVE HAVE TRACTION ALOPECIA, TWICE. So, between the DIY Coffee Hair Oil and using Blue Magic Indian Hemp. I put this on my 4c Hair. I will tell you, my hair has never been so juicy. Even with all the oils and Shea butters, add the grease and tied my hair. My hair was moisturized and had a sheen. I am happy. And I am looking forward to my Fall and Winter routine. I will keep my oils but really invest in Blue Magic❤

This is my sign to go back to using hair grease. A lot of women keep suggesting the wash and go, but I swear it’s causing me hair loss. Back in the day I used nothing but blue magic, pink lotion, and water and kept my hair braided in singles and it was so long and thick. Now, it’s constant shedding when I wash my hair. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Have you made a video expressing your opinions about these new methods, wash n go’s, etc? I’d love to hear your thoughts❤️

I'm so mad lol. I rejected grease a looong time ago when the natural hair movement began. i saw this channel and discarded the information a few years ago. "She just has easier hair to deal with" I said to myself. I later discovered that I'm low porosity and that the butters I was using were not working for me, plus they irritated my scalp. I switched to lighter oils which worked, but my ends were crunchy and dead. After many years stuck at shoulder length and not retaining moisture after a day, I started watching this channel a week ago. i took the plunge and used the 'grease' I had on hand, Aquaphor healing ointment I use for my face and lips. If I use petrolatum for my dry skin, it should work on my dry hair to retain moisture, right? Yes. My ends started to get softer and less frizzy without a heap of products, just grease and a leave in. I LOVE the feeling of washing my hair more often than twice a month! The feeling of a fresh clean scalp everyday is lovely. I think using a lighter petrolatum product like aquaphor or cerave healing ointment was the trick with my hair, vaseline and dax was too thick for my fine strands.

@@kathemich447 Yep, same here. The soft, pliable hair is mind blowing for me. I never thought my hair could be like this and CONSISTENTLY. It's not just a fluke like it has been in the past. From experimenting I do have to say that minimizing the products is a must to get these results. I tried washing every 3 days in the past but I was piling on layers of product forcing me to double lather each wash to remove all the buildup then hair dried up. It wasn't necessary. Once I got down to shampoo, conditioner, and a serum and wash every 3 days is when I got the best results. I cannot stop touching my hair. I can't believe it's mine!😆

Yes it cost money however at least your hair will be healthy and you will have a hair regimen that works for your own hair. Stick to what works for you. Stay positive. If don't like something change it but don't complain.

Grease is my go to! I put mini twist in on day 1 with grease and water and i keep them in about 3 weeks before washing and retwisting. But during the 3 weeks I'm hating trouble with moisturizing. Usually on day 4 i need to moisturize but im not sure if i should use grease again every 3-4 days until its time to really wash or use something lighter. Is it to much to keep using grease like that? Then come wash day and i have so much breakage and shed hair. Any suggestions?!

When your hair and scalp dries out, I suggest starting the wash day routine again. Also, I suggest only manipulating the hair on wash while the hair is wet. Also, don’t continuously add grease to your hair and scalp. Only apply it in wash day while the hair and scalp is wet.
