    Girl I recently got my hair cut short and shaped focusing on completely healthy hair. I attempted a wash and go with conditioner as a trial but then went back to just shampoo , oiling and greasing my hair. You’re right that conditioner is no good it just give nothing but an illusion. Washing or moisturizing the hair every couple of days works. Greasing the hair also prevents the hair from becoming hard. This is why I wrap my hair to protect my hair from the elements and as a replacement to hair styling. Thank You for sharing ❤️

    Mrs. Mississippi ❤️ My mom used to use blue magic on my hair. I really don’t remember my natural because my mom kept hot combs and perms on my hair. I suffered with scalp burns every relaxer and at one point had fungus in my scalp. *Trauma* I turned 18, I wanted to take control of the care of my hair. my mom didn’t want to cut my perms out 😭so I took a pair of scissors and went to town. First three months I wore wigs, became a student of the University of KZread for Natural Hair and I became product junkie following all the trends and oils and masks. Through all the trials and errors I’m just grateful to finally understand that hair grease is actually great and convenient for my hair and I can keep my routine simple. I am excited to see them length retention and health of my scalp and hair. I am using clove essential oil mixed with water in a spray bottle I spray after washing and before styling with blue magic originals super sure gro. I am 2 weeks in restyling my hair every week in chunky braids amd twist 👩🏽‍🦱. Thank you for sharing valuable information that I forgot growing up as a young woman.

    My biggest problem: it takes 3 - 4 washes with the come clean shampoo to get all of the grease out. What will get all of the grease out in one wash?

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

    @mrs.mississippi5035

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi! Do you use hot water (as hot as you can stand) on your initial rinse? The hot water does a great job at melting down the grease and pushing off the hair strands. I'm then able to use a gentle shampoo to remove the rest. You may be using "a lot" of grease the reason it's so hard to wash out. I use a lot on my ends (the last 3 to 4 inches) to clump them. As mentioned in this video, it's okay to use a lot of grease, but the consecutive washing may be necessary to remove it. What kind of shampoo do you use?

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

    @mrs.mississippi5035

    Hi! Your roots shouldn't be matted. If you experience matted roots, you may have breakage in your roots or sebum build-up. Sebum build-up also causes dryness.

    When my hair eventually gets dry, can I add ORS olive oil hair lotion to the hair strands and then grease the scalp a second time?

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

    @mrs.mississippi5035

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi! I don’t suggest that due to manipulating the dry hair with the grease already on it. You can try, but you may see strands of hair when you rub the ORS on the hair. If washing the hair often to add back the moisture is not a fit, you can try the ORS and sealing with an oil ( forget the grease). This will allow you the opportunity to moisturize often without having to wash the yair as often. That’s pretty much my daughters’s routine.
