I wanted to say thank you for sharing your methods. I started washing my hair every three days and using grease in 2020 after seeing your videos. I’ve gone from just at armpit length to almost waist length and my density has greatly increased. Thanks so much!

Yay! She did such a good job. Nice teaching mom! Please continue with this series. Moms of teens with type 4 hair need this guidance instead of just "slapping a perm" into their daughter's hair. xoxo

@@jewellmarie5596 Hi! No, I let it air dry in twist when it’s wet. I never blow dry when I use grease.

That will be great! I just forwarded this on Discord to my sister and her kids. Oh 16!👍🏿🙏🏿🥰 She is so pretty! I can't tell you how long ago 16 was for me, lol! Don't ask, lol! Thank you again... This was a great tutorial. I wish I could send you a picture... My sister mainly keeps their hair in twists because it's easier to manage. They have got some hair on their heads, let me tell you! Lol!!!

My sister does take good care of their hair, but I figured this would be good for my niece since she's trying to detangle her own hair now.

Great video! I have a quick question. My hair is in twists. And I admit some days I am too lazy to take my twists out and then wash my hair. So if I wash my hair with the twists still in am I able to wash all of the grease out? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I don’t think all the grease will wash away due to the clumped hair. To get the hair thoroughly cleansed the strands need to be free so the water can wash the grease off and away.

Hello, I have two questions. If she does Bantu Knots every night, will that be too much manipulation for her hair? I want to try Bantu Knots as a protective style. What do you think?

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

Hi! If she would have allowed the hair to completely dry before taking it down, she wouldn’t need to re-do every night. If she was to do every night by first spritzing with a little water, detangling ends with her fingers, and then twisting up, but no combing, I think she could get away with it for the most part. Anytime you manipulate the hair, with everyday or days later, you may experience some kind of breakage.
