Beautiful girl, ,beautiful hair. I agree wash n gos and twist outs are a NO. It causes so much damage to the ends...

Your the second hairstylist I heard say wash n go's and twist outs arnt good for length retention, that's why I've been blowdrying my hair more and stretching it to protect the lengths of my hair. Very helpful video.👍🏾

If you have thin hair, these are the styles that look good. Twists are a no-go, so how does one do a style that would make hair look thicker?

  • @zooweellama

@@disabledbabe im late to this but just wanted to add my 2 cents. first off, what do you mean by thin? the thickness of each strand or how many strands you have on your head? Some people get the two mixed up. If the thickness then thats genetic and nothing you can do about it so instead of trying to emulate thick hair, embrace what it looks like naturally. If you mean the amount of strands, that could be genetic, due to damage or a health condition so you would have to figure that out and take care of it (or embrace it if its genetic) you can still do twist though. Just do them smaller so it looks fuller and do then loosely so they puff up more instead of rope twist or doing them tightly.

@@zooweellama I meant thin, low density hair.

Hi MM! Glad you are well. There is a youtuber on here named CynDoll and she is against pretty much a lot of things especially twist outs and braid outs. She is a bit over the top for me, lol! She doesn't even think that we should grease the scalp due to our own sebum production, which I can't even disagree with. The only reason I stopped greasing my scalp, was because of inflammation and irritation.

Hi! Good to hear from you! Someone left a comment about her as well. I agree that twist outs and wash and goes are damaging. As for greasing the scalp, I disagree. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi can you make a full wash day video, the whole pre poo, detangle, wash, and grease session? I just destroyed my hair from completely neglecting it for 3 months, it is now super thin and fragile and am interested on your step to step hair care routine. Your channel fascinated me because of the titles of you only using grease and water, I remember my mom only using those 2 and maybe some pink lotion for my hair and it was down to my back so I would really appreciate it if you can make a video about your whole routine! Also I have seen from your videos that you use the green blue magic, would it be okay if I used the dark blue hair dress blue magic because I cannot find the green one anywhere

I will admit I have grown my hair in wash n gos but when it comes down to a trim… it is terrible! Single strand knot city. I’m going to be putting my hair back in twists at this moment actually 😅

Welcome back! If washing goes and twist outs are not doable styles for retaining length then what is? I am just so over what to do with my hair and it seems like no matter what we do our kinky curly natural hair it still does break..😢

Hi! To me, the only thing about braid outs and wash and goes is the ends coil up tight. You have to be sure to unravel the ends before manipulating, and even running water on them.

Hi! I wash it and then twist it while it’s wet. To refresh it, I spritz water, take down, spritz water, apply Hollywood Olive Oil, then re-twist. I sometimes spritz water, take down, ORS moisturizing hair lotion, Hollywood Beauty Olive Oil, then retwist.
