So: 1. Rinse your hair in twists, then apply grease to each section as a prepoo. 2. Rinse out grease with hot water then shampoo, massaging the scalp well. 3. Rinse and shampoo again: Unravel the twist, checking for knots at the tips. Scrub the scalp and drag the shampoo down the length of the hair to cleanse the grease off. Detangle the length of hair with the suds in. 4. Twist the hair with the shampoo in. Make sure the ends are detangled. 5. Rinse hair with lukewarm water and then unravel each twist and rinse to make sure the shampoo is completely out. This prevents matting and dryness. 6. Apply grease to the hair (about a fingertip full). Spray any dried out section with water. Focus more on the ends, sebum will take care of the roots. Keep detangling the ends during the process. Repeat every three or so days.

For anyone wanting a cool tip I’ve seen a young lady on here use gloves when detangling her hair or adding product to prevent her nails from snagging her ends/hair. Thought it was a neat trick & it made the product glide down ur hair better! Good luck ladies ✨

Black women be doing the MOST! 😓 Lawd! Very nice to share your tips though ma’am. I do agree, all you need is water 🚿 shampoo 🧴 and grease (oil)! I know this because people ALWAYS ask me what I do for mine and my daughters hair and look at me like I’m hiding something when I just say water and oil! 😝 I do LOVE a good conditioner also and use conditioners regularly! I will say your total hair loss is impressive and it was good of you to show that as not many people do. Good video overall! My first day viewing your channel!

Hi Shop Drop! Yeah, I get the same reaction/response also..lol Hair growth is really simple. All we have to do is keep the scalp and hair clean. I never really loose a lot of hair on wash day unless I try to do a time consuming hair style. The suds from the shampoo save the day! Maybe one day I will try conditioner just to see what happens....hmmm Thanks for your support!

I personally dont use grease anymore its been years but Im glad it still works for people and their hair flourishes. We all have our own custom regimines and different hair textures so one size doesn't fit all.. Some people come in the comment sections of others with negative opinions about how they should or shouldn't do this and that forgetting all of our hair is unique to us individually. For example some people do better with washing their hair in twist while others do better with it just out like myself. Its easier for a 4a natural to get away with just finger detangling their hair out while a 4c would most likely prefer smaller sections maybe using some type of comb or detangling brush and I realize now how diverse we really are as a people because back in the day I figured one size fits all when it comes to our hair needs but thats far from the truth.

I just want to say Thank you for your obedience because I have been praying for help...my hair was waist length when I was younger now I barely have any hair...My husband says crazy mean stuff like black women can't grow hair or black women hair just doesn't grow?I tell him that's a lie but every single time I try to grow my hair it breaks then listening to all the advice from other people or KZread try this, do this, I'm out of all this money and no real results..listening to you gives me some hope because now thinking about it when I was a child my mom used grease and water and I had hair...Lol only difference is she didn't wash it every 3 days she washed it once a week...I have a question so should I use design essentials for the wash or head and shoulders because I notice that in the video you used only design essentials....I have 4c hair...I will definitely take your advice I don't have anything to lose at this point I'm definitely listening to your advice...Thank you...God Bless
