    You're a fabulous speaker 👍, Water, is the key to hair growth, I got this revelation about water in Spring of 2019 as I looked into the backyard after a downpour of rain I noticed that the flowers were beginning to sprout on the right and left side of the yard, after a few days I noticed that the flowers on the right side seemed to be larger, but I also noticed that there was a puddle of water on the right side of the yard surrounding the flowers , I continued to observe the flowers which flourished far greater than the flowers on the other side of the yard, 🤔 so what came to me was if water is causing these flowers to flourish and trees then I'll put water on my hair, and guest what, water is the best moisturizer for 4c hair I didn't know about the grease then, but as I put water on my hair once/ twice a day I do notice hair growth, as of 1/18/2020 I washed my hair, applied aloe vera to hair and scalp let it sit for 30 minutes, rinse, then I applied blue magic grease, twist and placed a head wrap, I'll keep you posted on my results, Thank you👍

    Cherra Cannon Hi 👋🏼! No, I just use water. The water will rinse off any dust (etc) and add moisture back to the scalp and hair. I rinse and then re-twist each section under running water. I apply oil on top of the twisted hair, and I’m done. The goal is to keep the scalp and hair moisturized with water.

Oh and don't forget many company do drug testing by taking hair strands lol! Re:Vitamins /oils sitting on top of hair. Vitamins inside body Yes 👍🏾 Some oils carry nutrients inside the scalp to the follicles which encourages hairgrowth at scalp level if oils are measured correctly & you have the right combination of oils. It took me 4 years to create the right combination to grow healthier hair at the scalp & researched further to find an organic ingredient to strengthen & instantly thicken to allow everything to work together for all women’s hair at different phases in their lives because the female body is quite magnificent & is always working so hard hormonally, so my KIT XANDER HAIRFOOD SYSTEM has been created for all hair types & using a non greasy protective ingredient for the strands dispite using non chemical oils to moisturise. Length retention is so important so trimming ends is very important because the split ends upwards like a banana 🍌 & damages all the hard work you have done to grow healthier hair strand growth which if you don’t trim causes frizzy coarse hair. I trim my hair every 3/4 months & apply my formula to scalp & ends daily. . Dudley as well has a great scalp shampoo that’s not to harsh on the hair, but it kinda smells like Sulfur 8 grease to me. That Silk Elements shampoo is awesome!!!

Also when do you incorporate a protein treatment.. like how often? Oh let me clarify one thing... are you using the treatment as a leave-in or as a treatment then after you rinse it out you seal in the water with your oil? Ok and 1 more thing lol... when you rinse your hair only do you apply additional oil til it’s time to wash again?

    shaune hemphill Right! But I don’t use the treatment often to avoid the creamy buildup on my hair. Creamy products cause unforeseen matting. I mainly use the treatment before and after using heat. Also, I don’t use protein treatments because my hair is not chemically treated. The 100% natural hair is already structured to do what it supposed to do.... plus, the Moisturizing treatment has light protein in it. I feel that’s enough for my hair. I think I speak of this in my rice water video.

When it grew out some, I would roller set my hair to have a curly fro. I’d also wear my hair in twists and then wear a head wrap because the twists were sooo short. When it grew out more I would still wear a big Afro or blow dry and wear in a goddess braid or two braids down the sides. I’d some time blow it out and put a bun in the top of my head. The longer it got, I’d wear twists. Now that it’s longer I keep it in twists because it’s easier to maintain as far as wash day and styling.

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

    @mrs.mississippi5035

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi! Using only water allows you to add moisture back into the skin/scalp which helps prevent dandruff. However, even if you use only water, you still need to rinse with water every 2 to 3 days. The skin dries out every 2 to 3 days. Using only water also helps because it prevents us from using shampoo with harsh chemicals that strip the scalp and dry it out. There are several gentle cleansers out there though. If you choose to use water only, I suggest using a soap/shampoo at least twice a month to rid of some of the natural oil. Sebum build up can cause shedding, dandruff, and breakage.

    Hi! Yes, conditioner does soften the hair. I use grease as my conditioner. There are so many ways to condition the hair. Your hair may have started breaking due to your cleanser. You have to use a very gentle cleanser to “not” experience breakage. You also have to use a gentle shampoo that’s formulated for the hair and not the scalp. For example, I use Head & Shoulder but it’s formulated for “scalp” health. I don’t put it on the length of my hair because the ingredients are too harsh. I only use it on my scalp. I also pre-poo my hair before using the gentle shampoo. Although it’s gentle, I still protect my strands. Let me know if you have additional questions.

My hair was super crunchy and hard the next day, even after using some grease to condition my hair. I was perplexed as to why, but you've solved my problem. I definitely need to prepoo my hair before a wash. (This would be hard since I have a septic tank and don't want oils in my tank.) Normally, I just cowash, but I know my scalp needs that occasional cleaning. I also water rinse my hair nearly every day in the shower. I experimented with this over the summer and had rapid growth, more than my normal. I'm taking notes. Thank you so much.

    @@Jaisha26 Hi! I suggest only putting the Head & Shoulders on your scalp, not the length of hour hair. The H&S is too strong for the length. I suggest using a gentle moisturizing shampoo for the length. You can pre-poo with oil, you will just have to rinse the shampoo out quickly. Meaning, don’t put shampoo on one section and then leave it in while you shampoo the next section... go ahead and rinse it out immediately per section.

    Hi! I think it's a myth that the itchy scalp is due to hair growth; however, I do think that greasing your scalp contributes to hair growth. First, some of the ingredients in hair grease contribute to growth. Second, greasing your scalp helps seals in the moisture in your scalp. The itchiness may be due to an allergic reaction to the ingredient(s) in the grease or your scalp has dried out. When the scalp dries out, it itches because the skin is trying to repair itself. Let me know if this is helpful.
