Sulfate Shampoo? The "BEST" Product To Pre-Poo Natural Hair & Save Your Ends!! 2017

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

hairgossipbeauty3@gmail.com
Hey Yall! I have mentioned in previous videos that my natural hair does not like chemicals...OMG! If I use a sulfate shampoo, I experience a lot of knots, tangles, and breakage at the ends of my hair. This video will show how I use Blue Magic hair grease to prevent those situations.
FYI...I only pre-poo with hair grease if I wash my hair with a sulfate shampoo. I only use a sulfate shampoo on my hair if I'm going to use heat. If I use 22nd Century's Shampoo bar or a sulfate free shampoo, I pre-poo with olive oil.
Thanks for watching! Be sure to subscribe, like, and comment!

One thing I can appreciate about your videos is that you don't jump on the wave of these expensive natural hair products. You use simple affordable products and your hair still flourishes. New Subscriber Here.

Yes! Thank you! I'm trying so hard to keep my hair moisturize. But, it's still dry!!!!!!!!!. I use all natural products. I'm confused. But, my mom told me. When you was a little girl all I did was towel dry your hair and add hair grease. Oils don't work for your hair. Maybe I should start listing to my mother. I thank God for her. Thank you for being real. And also for your response. God bless you! Thank you.

Hello Aria Len! My fellow Mississippian....lol Please try using the hair grease or vaseline to pre-poo, you will be 100% please with the results. The grease/vaseline strengthens the hair and protects it from the harsh shampoo. Be sure to let the grease stay in your hair for about 2 to 4 hours or overnight before shampooing. Keep me informed of your results. Thanks for your comment!

Hair grease pre poo my hair better than olive oil and coconut oil. Love hair grease it always works for me and my daughter. My mother used it in my hair as a child and my hair was healthy until I perm it at 16. Keeping it simple and back to basics works for me. Pre poo is a new thing but it work with my simple routine. Pre poo, wash, conditioner, deep conditioning then leave in and seal (with blue magic hair grease) that's it simple nothing extra and my hair stay moisturized up to two weeks.

Thank you for sharing the informational videos!!!! I did a big chop and my hair was growing very well. It seems that when I get to a certain length, it starts splitting and I can't retain length.. I had started seeing a lot of coils after washing and it even appeared to break near the scalp. Hair keeps splitting up the shaft and I keep trimming but it doesn't seem to help. I even purchased an expensive pair of shears but my hair keeps splitting up the shaft. This is my first time hearing to use hair grease as a pre poo, which I will try. Will also put grease on the ends. Thanks so much again for the helpful information.

H! I think the shampoo may be the culprit of the issues you are experiencing. The shampoo you are using may be too harsh for your hair. Most times it's not that your hair is splitting up the shaft, but more so the tangles at the ends are causing you to break off the length of your hair. To retain length, you have to really pay attention to the last 3 to 4 inches of the hair because that's where it coils up the tightest and can lead to knots, which leads to breakage or the need to trim. You can also try deep conditioning after every wash to help combat the dryness cause by the shampoo. Pre-pooing with grease is GREAT! I mainly use it because I wash my hair in sections. The grease is there to protect my hair (mainly the ends) while I shampoo the other sections. It takes longer for the shampoo to eat up the grease than it does with oil. With oil, the shampoo pretty much eats up the oil instantly and then starts drying out your hair. *Be sure to use only enough to coat the ends of your hair (the last 3 to 4 inches). I don't use the sister conditioner, but sometimes a deep conditioner. I use the grease to condition my hair. Meaning... I shampoo with a gentle shampoo, rinse out, then apply grease. That's it! I keep it very, very, simple. Let me know if this is helpful!

I never thought about doing this but it is a great idea, and I love Blue Magic! Your hair is growing nicely. You hardly shed any hair. Is your shedding about the same when you use the 22nd century shampoo bar?

Hello georgiapeach310! Thanks for the compliment about my hair! And yes, the hair grease does wonders for our natural hair and scalp. It's a excellent choice for conditioning the hair and scalp, and I think promote hair growth. Yeah, I think you should try it. Even if you don't use as much as I did in the video, just put a tad bit on the ends of your hair to prevent the knots, tangles, and brittle ends. When I shampoo, I make sure to lather my ends really good to ensure I wash out the grease. One last tip, I only apply the grease to wet hair & scalp. In regards to shedding using 22nd Century shampoo bar, I would say it's about the same. Sometimes I experience more breakage when detangling my hair because it seems to dry fast. To prevent that, I just spray hot water (drench the section) on the section before detangling. Thanks a bunch for your comment! Please let me know if you have additional questions! :)

Hello Andrea Hutchinson! I'm not too keen about using conditioner on my hair because I feel that the oil/grease will condition my hair. However, I do deep condition and use a leave-in if I am going to use heat (blow dry, flat iron, roller set, etc) on my hair. Infusium 23 Leave-In and Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisturizing Treatment are the two conditioners that I use. Whenever I decide to flat iron my hair, I will be using the Aphogee products. Be sure to check out my video that shows how I flat iron my hair. Let me know if this was helpful. Thanks for your comment! :)

I love this Argan Life sulfate free shampoo! From the scent to the way it makes my hair feel, it is great. I was a little concerned about the bottle breaking, but it's very sturdy. It looks so nice I may refill it once it's gone. Great product!
