I have been shampooing every 2 to 3 day MAX (no conditioner) and my hair is LOVING this method! The first ITCH, I shampoo and I use my hair grease as a detangler as I three strand twist each of my 10 sections back until the next wash day!

If you use black soap to wash out grease, you will need to wash your hair 3x minimum. I use black soap to wash the grease out of my hair. Just note that the black soap will make your hair feel like it has a wax feel, but it will go away once you use a conditioner. But I’m going to use a oil/grease mix to use on my hair strands to make it easier to wash off.
