    @@mrs.mississippi5035what did she use to get hair hair that long again? I have a soft curls perms hair. This coming July it will be seven months that I have the soft curls perms hair. I heard that soft curls will grow your hair faster. How often should I be drinking water and washing my hair? The name of the chemicals in my hair is called wave by design professionals. I use the wave by design professionals finishing lotion and finishing mist activator with water on my hair everyday. Would that be too much to spray water on my hair everyday or not? The shampoo and conditioner that I use is CANTU. It's very very expensive so I am thinking about going to be using Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and I heard that it's good for the hair and it doesn't make the hair tangled and not hard to comb through. Do I have to comb out my hair before I can even washed my hair? Please let me know if I need to do that. What kinds of healthy foods diets and healthy drinks that I can have for my hair to grow and also for weight loss as well too okay. Is it true that black men don't have problems with their hair to grow like black women's hair. I know there are some black men that I have seen that are wearing soft curls just like black women are wearing. How is it true that black men don't have any thing put in their hair and Yes black men and black women hair are different. It doesn't matter whose hair grows longer or faster than any one else. It depends on how you take care of your hair and don't even stress yourself out and worry about hair growth. All you need is to eat healthy and exercise, for example like walking and going to the gym and which that's what I do when the days that I am not working at my job. All we need is fruits, veggies, eggs, some cereal, chicken breast, nuts, fish, brown rice, water, curtain kind of beans, healthy snacks, healthy drinks, healthy dairy, healthy potatoes, healthy breads, Lean ground meats, cheese healthy chips ( Low sodium) and etc. That's All we need for hair growth and weight loss as well too okay thanks bye bye. I hope to hear from you soon or later CHOW CHOW.

    The “hair care” industry has truly infiltrated our lives. I was natural in the 90s with a very simple routine: get hair braided every two months, hydrate hair EVERYDAY, pink oil on top, hemp grease or oil in the parts, wrap w/silk scarf and done! Hair was healthy, full, thick, strong and long. Fast forward to the mid 2000s and all these natural hair “gurus” telling you that everything your mother used in your hair and everything her mother used in her hair is no longer good for you and now you need to spend $40 on a product that only lasts two weeks and doesn’t work! 😳 Now here I am with dry, broken, thinning hair and $2 million later I’m realizing most of those chicks are sponsored by hair companies! 😡😤 Why oh WHY did I get away from what was working trying to “fix” what was not broken?!? 🤦🏾‍♀️ The 11:34 mark confirms that I need to get back to the basics. KISS! Very encouraging. Tfs!

And it is as you say....SUPER THICK! Black men grow their hair cause they keep it simple! They dont do all that we do to our hair! They wash it...moisturize it...and leave it the hell alone! This year I have started covering my hair too, but as a Christian. My hair care routine has become very simplified. Lots of no poo rinses, and oiling my hair. Braiding it and keeping it pinned up. I rarely shampoo but if I do I use African black soap, and recently I use a product from another KZreadr her name is 22nd century natural woman. I believe she created some type of all natural soap. But I feel like my hair is flourishing. I also wonder if keeping my hair covered is adding to the benefits of growth as well?

    I forgot to mention that because our hair is supposed to be dense, thick and long; its not supposed to move like a light feather. It should have movement and bounce but alot of our women want that " flowy" type of hair movement when thick density equates to heaviness, so our hair movement or body will be different. Alot of the products on the market are further pushing the idea that our hair can do something it can't or not even supposed to.

I think what was used in my house was that Royal Crown hair grease you know the one in the red container with the green strip . But then these naturals got on here telling us grease was bad for our hair and every body got fancy and stopped using it. Then when the natural products start to break your hair off people went back to grease . its its not broken dont try to fix it

    Lady LaTre'viette Phantumhive I’m not discounting the grease. Depending on your hair type and scalp, grease probably works for her. Nutrition is key and part of my “argument”. Water and missing nutrients in the soil is what we are missing for a balanced diet for over internal health. Your hair is the first thing to go if you are missing vital nutrients. But practices are key to retaining length, period.

I have never understood the point or difference between a regular conditioner, deep conditioner, hair mask, leave in conditioner, etc. Its pointless...not to mention the hundreds of other hair products for styling and curl definition. I just choose to keep it simple: A clarifying shampoo using a clay For moisture water To condition herbal oil mixture To style/tame a pomade

  • @mrs.mississippi5035

    @mrs.mississippi5035

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hey You! Girl yes, that soft feel will fool you...lol And that's also with conditioners, the hair feels soft and moisturized because the hair is coated with the conditioner; however, the hair strand itself is dry. The ingredients in the conditioner gives off that moisturize feeling. Also, no combing after you apply the grease and style for the first time. I twist my hair up and don't restyle or touch it until the next wash day. The only retouching I will do is my edges when I wash my face as I mentioned in previous video. If I see fly-a-ways, I will spritz a tad bit of hot water, gently rub them down with my fingers, and then tie my hair up with a silk/satin scarf to mold them back into place. On the next wash day, I rinse the "dried out" twists with hot water to remove some of the grease so my hair can obtain some moisture, and then put a plastic cap over my head for about 2 to 4 hours; this provides moisture back into my hair before shampooing. Keep in mind, if you don't do this step, applying shampoo to dried out hair will lead to a disaster of tangles and breakage. Let me know if this is helpful!

On the next wash day, I rinse my hair with hot water, and then cover with a plastic cap for about 2 or 3 hours to add moisture back in before shampooing. The hot water strips most of the grease off and allows moisture to get in. To me, this should be done even if you don’t use grease. Be sure to check out my wash day routine for more details. Hi, I put each section of hair in twists and then a bantu knot after I rinse the shampoo out. I then allow my hair to air dry for about 1 or 2 hours before applying the grease. I have noticed that putting grease on soaking wet hair, cause the texture of the grease to change to clumpy. Even though I allow my hair to air dry, I still spritz a little hot water on the section before applying the grease to avoid the friction of my fingers to cause breakage. Keep in mind, my hair strands are stripped, and vulnerable from using the shampoo, so I have to be extra careful not to break them.
