Very well put you just put something on my mind. When you said exfoliate your scalp because it does get dry and skin that grows over closed pores defeats the purpose of regrowth. So yea I believe everything you're saying. Thank you for sharing your knowledge I appreciate you.

Also I've seen other you tubers who have shaved off their edges and to have them grow back very thick. I never understood why but now that I've heard this from you, it all makes since. In addition, I believe as a result come open pores and regrowth.

Hmmm🤔 very nice explanation 👌 I think the key to getting your edges back is don't forget about them and keep them moistured. Coz... Tbh like I just think what's the point in conditioning them, shampoo etc because nothing is there. But now, with your motivation, I will always moisture them and seal them even after I finish washing my face. (Most time i just wash my face at night) 👍🏽👌🏾❤️

I rarely brush my edges. If I do, it's a little light brush over. Lol. I mainly just spray a little water on my edges and hair, and put a scarf in. I wear twists 100% of the time. 😁

Everything you said makes sense. The only exception is the fingernail😬 LOL...the pads of the finger should be okay or soft/medium toothbrush just for the hair would work nicely to assist with the exfoliation process. Im going to ck out the baking soda video. Thanks sis for the tips!

Hello nishani3! The pads of your fingers are good for breaking up the build-up, but it's not guaranteed to wash away. Thanks for your comment!

Hi Joenita McNeil! Yes, but I believe it depends on the severity of the condition. I also believe it depends on how soon you address the issue.

I bought the Hollywood oil, and the ORS oil moisturizer. But my sides have been out since a child. I’ve been binge watching ur channel and I’m in awe of ur hair knowledge!! Ur wonderful. Do you think exfoliating and washing often, as well as massaging that area with the Hollywood oil would do the trick?

Joenita McNeil I have never had thick edges. Even as a child, they were very thin. I’ve also noticed that many of the women on my mother’s side of the family have little to no edges. Mine also became almost non-existent when I got older and started getting micro braids all the time. Many times I would take them out the night before and get them re-done the next day.
