This looks good - but I thought homemade meant not coming from the can or bottle? My mom (from Alabama), made homemade sauce and bar-b-que sauce using fresh lemons, uncanned tomatoes 🍅 cooked down, spices... I believe the only thing she used that was in the bottle was ketchup and/or paste. Fresh garlic, etc. They opened up a barbecue place when we lived in Oklahoma- what inspired her was people loving her SAUCES - I don't have her infamous cookbook on me, it's at my dad's house. That cookbook is like "GOLD!". My mom is passed away now - she started cooking at fifteen when her own mother burned herself while cooking... Forget about fighting over a house, clothes, or other materialistic things she had, but that cookbook she had...that is worth fighting for, lol! (I am only joking about fighting) Peace.

Hi! The word “homemade” means “the final product was made at home”, and not bought at a store. It has nothing to do with the individual ingredients. Per your comment, the bottled ketchup and/or canned tomato paste, and spices used prevents the sauce from being classified as “homemade “. Your comment is contradicting. Also, be sure to Google the word “infamous”. I I think you misunderstand the meaning of that word as well. Thanks for watching!💕

@@mrs.mississippi5035 Omy goodness! Well I didn't mean "infamous." What I should have said was "well-known" amongst our immediate family. I stand corrected on that, but not what I said about my mom making her own sauces. I said ALMOST homemade... We don't have to agree because no one is ALWAYS right. I didn't mean to sound offensive. I was just remembering how my mom made her sauces. I looked up homemade like you said, and I still believe that it means self-made. Not at a store or in a factory - Peace.
