    Thanks Kevin 😊🙏 And you're the first person to leave a comment about it. 😁👉🏆 As far as it being fast; I'm assuming that your right 😄 it looks pretty darn quick to me as well.😕 I'm more of a How slow can you go kinda person "especially when it comes to Airplanes,🙄 The slower the better at the moment,😄 or at least until I start to get the hang of it, (hence the Aeroscout)😁 As for this plane though; We'll see what happens when he takes it out for it's maiden flight, "Hopefully it makes it back in one piece. 😄 Thanks for your kindness Kevin, and many more for sticking with the channel through these last few Airplane videos.😊🤜🤛

    Sorta 😂 lol, it definitely wasn't the best flying, but at least I brought it back home, "and in one piece `too boot.😄 Which is much better than not bringing it home at all, because of it being (MIA) "missing in action" or bringing it home in a garbage bag, "like I did the first time.😂 Ha ha ha lol Thanks for the great compliment Kevin and many more for checking out my piloting practice. 😁🤜🤛

    Arborist Job! 😄 Ha ha ha lol I'm afraid of heights, so not any time soon on the tree trimming job.😂 Heck! If it wasn't for all the electronics in the plane, and my name and address being attached to the numbers, "that baby would still be sitting there.😂 Lol And you said that you were nervous..😄 I wasn't at the time of this video, but I'll definitely be a bit nervous on it's next flight.😄 Simulator; Definitely worth every penny no doubt about it,😕 "and I'm known for being cheap" so me saying that it's worth every penny, is definitely saying something.😄 "And once again, I can't thank that viewer enough for donating one to the channel,😊 That person has potentially saved us thousands of dollars "in scraped or lost RC airplanes.🙄😁 Speaking of which.. I've recently been practicing on the Sim with some background wind turned on, that way I'll be a little more prepared the next time out with the Aeroscout. Flight Simulator's are well worth it.😊 Speaking of the Aeroscout.. After I got back home from filming this video, I did a few take off and landings on our driveway with the plane,😄 lol around twenty in total,😁 and other than the front landing gear breaking away from the laminate board inside the fuselage,🙄 it was a pretty successful practice session 😄 ha ha ha lol, "our gravel driveway was too much stress for the nose gear"😕 and all the taxing back and forth from one end of the driveway to the other, was just too much stress for it to handle.🤔 Anyways... I've since repaired it with some old school erector set metal strips, and that baby should be rock solid, from here to the end of that planes existence.😂 Lol Thanks for the great comment bro, and many more for checking out the video.😁🤜🤛

    The TF2 is a badass rig. I won a Marlin in January, been running it with the included Nimh battery, put a 3s in it for the first time yesterday. Wow! What a difference. Going to get pick up some 2s batteries from a buddy and run those so I don't break diffs or driveshafts. I dig your course, I wish I had more land to build one in my yard. Luckily I'm in Wisconsin and we have so much different terrain to trail and crawl on.

  • @R.C.A.D.
    @R.C.A.D.24 күн бұрын

    Tf2's are a lot of fun 😊 and congrats on winning a Marlin Crawler Edition 🎉 Now you said that you were running it on a Nimh battery previously, and just switched to a 3s lipo yesterday, And I've got to ask... Did you change the settings or "pin" on the ESC, so that it the low voltage cutoff turned on ? 😕 If not, then you definitely need to do that... Otherwise you're gonna end up killing your lipo's by possibly draining them down past a safe level, and you'll never be able to recharge them again.😞 Thanks for your compliments towards the adventure park,😁 I'm kinda ashamed that it was in such ruff shape 😔 I did a few videos last fall, and the course was "crazy gnarly, in comparison.😄 Lol Wisconsin! Your right on the other side of the pond, I've been there a few times "and it's really not that much different than it is around here, 😊 Other than the fact that we don't get upset at the way people pronounce Wis'consin, 😂 Lol "but the terrain is relatively similar. Much appreciated for your great comment Tyjoe or Mattymoe, and I thanks for checking out the show. 😊👍🙏

    @TyJoe_N_MattyMoe Right on Mattymoe 😊👍 And I'm sorry that you got handicapped, What happened ? 😕 I technically got handicapped back in 2003 from a work related broken right ankle, which sidelined my commercial truck driving and equipment operating career,😞 I should have been okay after the broken ankle, but a doctor messed up on doing some surgery on it, and almost killed me from a bone infection caused by using tool's that hit the floor and weren't replaced with a new sterile set,😕 I had a bone infection from two hospital born bacteria's, and almost died from it "because I didn't know about it, until it was almost too late.😕 I'm all better now, but my right ankle is seriously jacked up, and missing pieces,😕 I ended up having one of the Detroit Pistons orthopedic surgeons repairing the damage that the other doctor had done, which took two more additional surgeries before they could call it good, and a few months of being on a pic line I.V. with some hardcore antibiotics, being distributed at unheard of dosages, "Huge Amounts of Antibiotics" 😕 like I said, I almost died from it, and that's no B.S., I checked myself into the hospital the first time I noticed that I was having a problem with the first surgery, and I checked in with a temperature of 104.7° degrees 😵 doctor said that I was lucky that I decided to go to the hospital when I did, because if I would have waited any longer the infection would have killed me, apparently it was in my leg bone and was working it's way to my heart,😕 They immediately hooked me up to a pic line iv "which was still somewhat experimental at that time" and started distributing antibiotics directly from my heart out,😕 The IV line started in my arm, then went up through my shoulder and down my neck into my heart, and was dumping antibiotics directly into my heart,😕 Which is pretty serious! Anyways.... That was back in 2003, and I'm still alive today, so everything must have gone okay.😂lol Although the hospital bill was quite insane at over 220k 😵

    @@R.C.A.D. In 2017 I was trying to walk away from a bar fight, I suffered a severe TBI and ended up in a coma for 10 days. It gave me epilepsy, I tried for 3yrs to work through the seizures(grand mall seizures put me down out of commission for 3-5 days), when the pandemic hit I was working at a restaurant in Colorado, I lost my job, had no insurance or seizure meds, so I went to the mountains to end it. I had a seizure, was found and med flighted to the hospital 2hrs away. Afterwards I stayed at a friend's house for a few days, sold my car, and got on the train back to Wisconsin. My hometown, where it happened, was giving me anxiety and PTSD, a friend noticed and brought me to her house about 90mi away, she saved my life and became my wife in 2021. It is an amazing truck 😊 and many thanks for your compliments towards the course.😁🙏 As far as the Ascenders go; We absolutely love them on my channel, and we currently own five of them, Two K10's, One Suburban, One Bronco, and this Sweet K5 Blazer. Do I recommend one ? Yes... Totally! 😊 Are they reliable ? Yes... Totally Reliable! 😊 Should you buy one ? Unfortunately their no longer in production, and Vaterra went out of business in like 2017 or something like that, but their parent company is still very much alive "which is Team Losi. Should I purchase one used 🤔 ? Well that depends on how it looks really, and prices can very greatly on Ascenders, Some people are from this planet and sell them for real world prices, and some people think that the trucks are made from 24k Gold 😄 Ascenders are pretty darn tuff and reliable, so I'd say that if the truck looks clean on the surface, then it's probably a pretty darn good deal for $200.00 bucks,🤔 I've seen them sell for anywhere between $150.00 to $800.00, and some of the $800.00 dollar one's were looking pretty beat up.😕 I'd say that if the body looks okay, and the chassis is all in one piece and everything is currently working, then that truck is worth $200.00 all day long.😁👍

Both of those trucks look Bad A#$... And are truly one of a kind.😁 Should also check out my K10 and this K5 Blazer with Traxxas Portal axles, a Traxxas VXL 3s Velenion brushless system and Traxxas all terrain Trax on them, 😄 ha ha ha lol "way better than a Traxxas Trx4 in the snow, there's no doubt about that,🤔👍 And also two more "one of a kind Ascenders" which are also the very First of their kind too.😁 I'm pretty good at making One of a kind RC's that are better than the originals.😊

    😄 ha lol "nope, not yet. I got busy with a bunch of other stuff around here, and haven't had much time to go in and look at it.😕 And I also did "exactly what I said "that I didn't want to do, 🙄 And that was falling behind on putting out videos.😕😞 I have four videos ready to go, but I had gotten sidetracked with making a half mile long walking trail "that's wide enough to drive a full size truck through" going all the way around the perimeter of our property.😁 It's pretty cool! And has also opened up a lot of new areas to run the RC's, which is even cooler really.😄 Lol And I also found a lot of new Rocks for the adventure course too, "in the process of making that trail" 😊 I'll probably do a video on it before too long.😁👍 Other News; I put new drive shafts on the TF2, and did a video running it on 3s around the adventure course, Which was pretty cool too,😄 it was the first time that I had the TF2 out in about 2-3 years, and it was also the very first time that I've ever ran it on 3s.😊 That video will be titled "The Mighty TF2" And I also filmed another Airplane video with the Aeroscout 😕 and I ended up parking it in a tree twice,😞 And talk about a pain in the rear to get the plane back.🙄😕 Other delays; Our Michigan weather has also been causing delays in the program,🤔 the Temps have been up and down and up and down, and it's also been windy'er then normal, along with raining on and off for week long stretches,🙄😞 it Sucks! 😕 The weathers not good for anything but a indoor day job.🙄😞 Especially after getting my nose broken last fall "after getting hit with that falling tree branch" it makes me want to stay out of the woods on those windy days.😕 And that makes it tuff to get any new construction done on the adventure course.🙄 Can't be wasting time looking up every time the wind blows,😕 otherwise nothing ends up getting accomplished.😞 I'm gonna have to start wearing a Helmet and Chest Protector to get any work done out there.😂 Lol Back to the Willy's Jeep; As I look over towards the work bench "this is what I see, Total Chaos! 😄 Ha lol "Starting on the far left side of the bench" we've got manuals and various parts laying about for different RC's, then there's the TF2 body resting by the screwdrivers towards the back of the bench, and a set of custom carved 2.2 Canyon Trails sitting in their tire bag's, right in front of the TF2, and closer to the front of the bench, "their for my Trx4 bronco" To the Right of the TF2 is the Tamiya Volvo A60H, and it's waiting for me to finish the lifting bed portion on it, In front of the Volvo "closer to the front of the bench" is my dirty Tf2 sitting in a cheap tin turkey basting pan,😂 I put it in that when I finished it's run, and it hasn't moved since.😄 Lol To the right of the Volvo and Turkey basting TF2 "is the Aeroscout airplane, it's comfortably resting on top of a roll of paper towels, and currently in the middle of swapping Transmitter's, as well as still using it to finish the end of its last flight video,😕 Basically showing the damage that occured during its most recent flights along with my plans to swap it out to a different transmitter.😕 And then to the right of the Aeroscout is a old outdated laptop computer, and a old outdated Phoenix 5.5 flight simulator program,😄 The computer was ours, and the Flight Sim was donated to the channel by a viewer who doesn't want to be named,😊 And it's pretty cool... And it came with a old outdated Spektrum DX6i transmitter to go along with it,😁 which is the same transmitter that I'm going to bind the plane up to.😄 Lol But the flight sim was a huge help... And I highly recommend one of those "for anyone thinking about flying a RC plane,😄 Lol Having that Sim is great for developing the muscle memory required for learning how to fly in RC airplane,😕 it's a huge help, and saves all kinds of money too,😂 Crashing a RC plane in the Sim doesn't cost you a penny, and crashing one in real life can be "potentially" very expensive.😕 I can't thank that person enough for donating that, it has "potentially" saved me a ton of money,😄 I crashed my plane 7 times the first time out "without trying it on a SIM first" and the second time out I didn't crash it at all,😕 instead I had one really bad landing on the ground, and two really nice high level parking jobs, in two different trees,😂 Lol But I didn't crash it.😁👍 And that's where I'm at "at the moment, "currently editing the end of a flight video, out in the Big RC Toy Box.😁 The Jeep... Holy cow I didn't even mention the jeep 😂 And that's because it's not on the bench, and is currently sitting on the RC display wall "below my K10 Ascender, and above my Wltoys 10428a Hydroplane truck.😁 don't know when I'll get around to taking it apart, but when I do "I'll make sure to put it on camera.😊 Otherwise though I'm still happy with it.😁 It's definitely not the best RC crawler for the money, but I wouldn't have ever known that without the opportunity of owning one first,😕 Especially since nobody else other than myself on KZread, would ever give someone the straight facts on a vehicle such as this,😕 Most folks like to show RC's like they never have a problem, and "me" on the other hand "me likes to tell the Truth.😁👍 Ha ha ha 😂 lol I personally like that little jeep, but it's definitely not a everyday crawler, and it's not necessarily built for the long haul,😕 She's basically just a very scale shelf model "that you can take out and drive every once and awhile" 😕 I've only had it out twice, and the first time was in the snow, "which is where it picked up that clicking sound" 🤔 and that's not good! 😕 "If it was in the dirt" then I might think that some sand might have gotten into something, "But since it started doing it in the snow"🤔 That means "that it must be internal, and I'm guessing it's coming from it's crappy "linear gear reduction transmission"🤔 "Ultimately" I'm foreseeing that body on an entirely different chassis somewhere down the line, just because I know "that the original chassis isn't going to hold up.😕 But right now she's looking pretty, and currently sitting on display with all the rest of the RC's.😊👍

    Yes sir... 😕 This is a RC Kit, Which means that it's not assembled, and that it comes with absolutely nothing but the basic vehicle, tires, and motor. Everything else needs to be purchased separately,🙄 Which would be a 2 to 4 or possibly even a 6 channel Transmitter & Receiver, along with One to Two Servo's for the front and possibly rear steering, along with a ESC or "Electronic Speed Controller" and a Battery for the vehicle. If you want a RC Vehicle that's Ready to go straight out of the box, then you need to look at RTR vehicles which stands for "Ready To Run" although most RTR vehicles don't come with a battery,😕 so you'll have to pay attention to the details when shopping.😊👍

    Right on and Congrats with the TF2 😊👍 As for the Orbs; I didn't really notice them on film until January of 2019 or 2020 🤔 But once I noticed them, I went back and started looking at my older videos, and seen that they are visible on just about every video I have, starting from the beginning, and leading up to today.😕 So to answer your question... they were here before the Snowman figure, And someone or "something" out of that group of orbs decided that they liked the snowman figure, and figured that they would stick around for awhile.🤔😕 Or at least that's what I was thinking. I think that something has been following me around since I was a wee kid, and I'm just now able to capture it on film with "today's HD style video cameras" or at least made them more visible to the naked eye.😕 Now having said that, I've never seen any with my own eyes before this, but I have had all kinds of haunted house experiences throughout my life, and I think that something has been following me from my Grandmother's house in Canada, since I was around 4 years old or so,🤔 I used to get a crazy bad headache that would make me sick to my stomach, everytime we went to visit her, and I mean every time, it was like clockwork, as soon as I got about 25ft from the front door, the headache would hit me like a ton of bricks, and then I would almost start throwing up immediately after.😕 Never the less, we only went there a few times when I was a child (maybe 10 times in total before they moved) But when I think back about everything, I think that the orbs "and whatever it is that's following me" probably started way back then.😕 I've also recently seen some weird looking stuff in the background of old family photos of myself 🤔 "childhood pictures from from the 70's and 80's" But what looks like orbs in the background of those old pictures, could just as likely be the old film degrading.😕 So who's to say on that observation 🙄 But my general consensus is that it's something, or a group of something's, that has been slowly building up since I was a kid.😕 I'm a magnet 🧲 for those things apparently.😕 Does it bother me ? no not really.... 😆 Lol Or maybe I just got used to it 🤔😕😄 lol

    @@R.C.A.D. that’s very interesting to read . I used to get a feeling of somebody watching me and being near at my grandmothers house, just upstairs I think it was my grandfather who had passed away a few months earlier in 1976 . Not in the house but in a hospice so I think it was him just keeping an eye on me when I was alone . It’s a funny feeling you can’t explain . Also a few years ago I was in a place called Conwy castle in Wales in the Uk where I’m from . And just as I was climbing the steps to the battlements I noticed a pair of legs in chainmail with the armoured over shoes and shin plates I said to my wife can you see those legs and by time she looked they were gone . The castles were built by Edward longshanks king of England when he invaded Wales in 1400 he built a ring of Castles all around wales to keep the Welsh Down . Then the Rebellion of 1400 to 1415 saw some captured by rebels lead by Owain Glyndwr the prince of wales . So there’s a lot of history and death here in Wales so I think the legs were from that part in time I saw .

    @craigpimlott204 Sorry for the delayed response Craig, it's been a busy couple of days. As far as your story goes; I hear you, and believe you 100% As for old King Edward; I heard of him being referred to as Long shank's in a movie, but I had no idea that's what he was actually referred by.😕 And that also brings up another question about what could be hanging around over here.🤔 My last name is "Campbell" And I am directly related to the same Campbell's of Breadalbane,😕 and "my Father, my older Brother, and myself" are the last three males on our side of the family tree.😕 Now if you think about all the past history between the Campbell's and the MacDonald's, not alone all the dirty work that they did for the King of England,🙄 makes me wonder if there could be some kind of connection from that past history in the family.🤔 ? "Which is just a thought that I've had for awhile, and you reminded me of it when you were talking about old Long Shanks.😊

    @@R.C.A.D. yep old long shanks was a right old tyrant against the Scot’s and the Welsh he didnt treat The English great either . Taxed the English to death in some cases to pay for his Scottish and Welsh invasions and his ring of Castles around Wales to quell the Welsh uprising . Thing is he caused many centuries of animosity between the Scot’s and English and Welsh and English . But we all know he was the cause of it all these centuries later . same as the British in Ireland which was all started by William of orange . the animosity between the British and Irish is now hopefully sorting itself out because without those in power causing the problems ,we as everyday people can get along with each other without animosity non of us want to be at each others throats . Same with king George in America throwing his weight around without that nonsense folk would of got along just fine … 🇬🇧🇺🇸

    Well the best way is to measure between the center of the front wheel stud to the center of the rear wheel stud, and that will give you your wheelbase,😊 but the easiest way is to look at your vehicle online "at say Amain hobbies" and see what the wheelbase is in the vehicle description.😂 Trx4 Blazer, Trx4 79 Bronco, and the trx4 sports have a 312mm wheelbase, The Trx4 defender has the longer wheelbase of 324mm, along with the newer style trx4 bronco, and a few others, and then the newer trx4 high trail pickups have a completely different wheelbase,🤔 I'm not sure what it is off the top of my head, but it's in between 312 and 324mm, Thanks Traxxas! 🙄

    @raidersperez1278 The 2021 Bronco has a 324 mm wheelbase, so...... Yeah......🤔 No matter how close it might look, you probably don't have it set up right.😕 "You basically just shortened your wheelbase" there's a fine line between 312mm and 324mm if you put them side by side it's barely noticeable, but there's definitely a difference between the two. Right now when you're suspension is fully extended your tires are probably coming close to the inner edges of the front and rear fenders, and with the 324mm setup it would be closer to the middle of the wheel well vs sitting slightly forward of center in the back and slightly backwards of center in the front,😕 You need to switch it over to the 324mm parts. The 312 setup will work, but it's not right for the wheelbase of your 2021 Bronco.😕

I did a little bit of taping on it last night, "just to give it a bit more support"😁👍 Flying a model plane; Surprisingly difficult 😕 I need a plane with a Helicopter propeller on top, so that I can fly it a little bit slower.😂 Lol I was almost starting to panic when the plane started getting out of sight "I was having a tuff time with it's orientation, and trying to get it turned around and facing the right direction again,😕 That was almost a bit scary! And a little bit unnerving, to tell you the truth,🙄😕 Having all these thoughts about my plane going missing in a split second, while trying to get it turned around at the same time, was a bit of a rush! 😵 And that's where having a expert pilot by your side really pays off.😄 Lol I'm going to try flying it again next weekend if the weather is good, hopefully I can do a better job keeping it in the air, "landing is going to be whole other feet in itself,😄 Lol I've gotta get used to flying first, before I can even think about making a controlled landing on a designated strip.😂 Ha... I've got the itch, and I can't wait to go try flying it again.😁👍 And unlike my grandiose thoughts that I had in the beginning, of getting all these different types of planes before I even learned how to fly,🙄 I think that I learned, that I'm probably gonna have to go through a few Aeroscouts, before I can even think about getting something better.😂 Ha ha ha lol Thanks for your kind response towards my first Airplane video, and many more for taking the time to check it out "especially since it's not a crawler video" much appreciated for the support Brother. 😊👍🤜🤛🙏🛩️👉🏆

  • @8bitisthesh1telwell74
    @8bitisthesh1telwell742 ай бұрын

    Well honestly for your first flights I was impressed. You recognized some of your mistakes and attempted to correct them. It's almost impossible to start alone. The 2 main things I noticed is trying to gain altitude without enough air speed and trying to turn with aileron without enough air speed. And no rudder compensation" Airspeed is your friend" lol The thing that sucks is you do not have anyone to trim the plane for you. If it was trimmed and flying level with your hands off the sticks. That would at least give you a fighting chance. Try to takeoff , climb to a comfortable altitude, stay at that height and then try to make wide circle's using rudder rather then ailerons to turn. That being said it really is darn near impossible to get it all correct when it's all new. Tips from others can help but ultimately you have to just experience it for yourself I think your location is good, not ideal but it looks safe. I've taught people using a 3 channel setup with ratcheting throttle. Your setup is fine just try to keep the three channel (concept) in your mind. Your goal is to get to a safe comfortable altitude and stay there (no up and down) and you want to use rudder rather then ailerons to keep your wings level while turning. This method helps a lot to avoid wallowing around the sky and avoiding tip stalls. PS I've seen guys flying for years that cannot hand launch that good lol your getting the hang of that👍 Have fun guys👍

    Thanks man...😊👍 It's not the best, but it's definitely better than no driver figure at all.😄 Lol And the more I look at it the better I feel about it,😕 I'm looking at the Jeep right now, and it actually doesn't look half bad,😊 maybe I did do a halfway decent job after all "for a Half Assed driver install" 😂 ha ha ha lol "get it... Half Assed... Because I had to shave off half of his butt to make him fit. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 LMAO Half Assed install...😁 Lol I should have titled the video like that, "Roc Hobby 1:6 MB Scaler Half Assed driver install" 😆 both true and funny at the same time...😁

    Many thanks man...😁🙏 It's far from perfect, but not too bad considering what I was working with, it was like trying to squeeze Andre the Giant into a old Manx Dune buggy, and making it look natural.😂 Tuff fit...🙄

    @@R.C.A.D. There's no way I would have done all that work, with my patience I would have just been pissed off and drove it without the driver but lol you did a killer job making him not just fit but probably the most natural looking driver figure in one of these I have ever seen.

    @creekcreeperrc7972 😄 Ha ha ha lol.. I'm not exactly known for my patience either, So I can relate with you there, but I was on a mission with this one, and was bound and determined to make that figure fit, "just like those special kids that we all knew in preschool" I was determined to get that square peg to fit into that round hole.😂 Ha ha ha lol Can't thank you enough for your seal of approval my friend, I certainly appreciate it... 😊❤️🙏🤜🤛
