Once again I would have tackled the plexiglass with a super thin Dremel cutoff wheel, and it all would have melted itself back together like trying to cut 1/4" plexi with a jigsaw, and I would be ordering new parts. Ha... 😄 I couldn't trust myself going those kind of distances with a thin cut off wheel "while trying to cut out that door outline" and accidentally cut outside of the line,😕 I figured the exacto knife was a much safer, and straight forward way of going about it.😄 I tell you what though "if I decide to do this same mod to my 1580 Excavator, I'll definitely have to use the thin cut off wheel and Dremel, "Because the 1580's Cab is made out of some kind of Alloy.😄 Lol Thanks for the great suggestions once again bro,😊👍 and many more for checking out the video flashback.😁🙏

Hey buddy, you have by far the best and very detailed videos about rc cars modifications, keep it up ! And i would really like to see how you would install limit switches for servos on the excavator, i wanna do it for my double e 561 but im not sure with wires, which one should go where etc., same with yellow beacon led light, any advice from you will be really appreciated 🙂

Many Thanks for your kindness my friend.😊🙏 As for the Limiter Switches and Flashing Beacon; I haven't gotten that far yet myself 😄 lol "but it's on my list of stuff to do,👍 I've got the Aftermarket Medal Boom Arm's with the limiter switches, and I've had them sitting here since like 2019 or 2020 or something like that "I'm a little bit behind on things"😄 lol Anyways... And to reply to your other question, "you may have seen this before🤔 I just went back and looked at my video lineup, and this mod was part of a much longer video that was released on 1/14/21 for the 1550 excavator, "that video was well over an hour long, and contained several upgrades, this one was just focused on the door mod specifically. It was my intention to upload this video back in 2021, but it just kept getting pushed back with other more important material, and eventually got lost in the shuffle,🤔😕 So here it is again 😄 lol Just trying to make things easier for those who only want to see how to mod the door.😁 And much appreciated for checking it out one more time...😁👍
