Nicely done Jim. Darn tree jumped right out at you, I saw it. Wish I was closer but none the less Step one complete👍 and kudos to Ian for his commentary & camera work. They are harder to follow then it looks. Glad you guys had a good time. Thanks for sharing guys! Some high quality clear packing tape from the post office is helpful for repairs as well.👍 Sounds silly but drive it up and down the driveway without the wing to practice takeoffs, it really will help judge how twitchy it is on the front wheel.

Thanks Doug.....😁🙏 And I think that I might need to find a different place to fly,🤔 That place was good and roomy, but it's not very forgiving for accidental landings, or accidentally getting too close to the ground.😄 lol I think that I was trying to fly it too slow, and it was pretty much dropping out of the sky,😕 and of course it was my first time flying to, so that may have been the main reason for most of my crashes, or mistakes.😄 Lol Ian's filming; That was a First for him too, "and unlike filming a crawler, the difficulty factor is quite a bit higher trying to film a plane, As you said, "they are very difficult to follow" 😕 especially when zooming in and out, while trying to track something through the sky.🙄 He didn't do too bad.😊 He did a lot better filming than I did flying, that's for sure.😂 Lol Practicing with the plane on the driveway; Now more than ever that's probably going to be needed,😆 "You should see the front wheel on the plane, it's sitting all kinds of sideways.😂 lol I glued the plane all back together "including around the front landing gear attachment point" with all of the landing gear removed,🙄 and when I put the landing gear back on after the glue was dry, I realized that the front wheel was looking a little jacked up.🙄 oops...😕 It will be fine for hand launching, but the landing's might be a little sketchy with that crooked front wheel.😂 Ha ha ha lol It's drivable, but it's going to take a little bit of compensating to keep it straight.😆 Lol Packing tape; Yeah man... I did a little bit of taping on it last night, "just to give it a bit more support"😁👍 Flying a model plane; Surprisingly difficult 😕 I need a plane with a Helicopter propeller on top, so that I can fly it a little bit slower.😂 Lol I was almost starting to panic when the plane started getting out of sight "I was having a tuff time with it's orientation, and trying to get it turned around and facing the right direction again,😕 That was almost a bit scary! And a little bit unnerving, to tell you the truth,🙄😕 Having all these thoughts about my plane going missing in a split second, while trying to get it turned around at the same time, was a bit of a rush! 😵 And that's where having a expert pilot by your side really pays off.😄 Lol I'm going to try flying it again next weekend if the weather is good, hopefully I can do a better job keeping it in the air, "landing is going to be whole other feet in itself,😄 Lol I've gotta get used to flying first, before I can even think about making a controlled landing on a designated strip.😂 Ha... I've got the itch, and I can't wait to go try flying it again.😁👍 And unlike my grandiose thoughts that I had in the beginning, of getting all these different types of planes before I even learned how to fly,🙄 I think that I learned, that I'm probably gonna have to go through a few Aeroscouts, before I can even think about getting something better.😂 Ha ha ha lol Thanks for your kind response towards my first Airplane video, and many more for taking the time to check it out "especially since it's not a crawler video" much appreciated for the support Brother. 😊👍🤜🤛🙏🛩️👉🏆

Well honestly for your first flights I was impressed. You recognized some of your mistakes and attempted to correct them. It's almost impossible to start alone. The 2 main things I noticed is trying to gain altitude without enough air speed and trying to turn with aileron without enough air speed. And no rudder compensation" Airspeed is your friend" lol The thing that sucks is you do not have anyone to trim the plane for you. If it was trimmed and flying level with your hands off the sticks. That would at least give you a fighting chance. Try to takeoff , climb to a comfortable altitude, stay at that height and then try to make wide circle's using rudder rather then ailerons to turn. That being said it really is darn near impossible to get it all correct when it's all new. Tips from others can help but ultimately you have to just experience it for yourself I think your location is good, not ideal but it looks safe. I've taught people using a 3 channel setup with ratcheting throttle. Your setup is fine just try to keep the three channel (concept) in your mind. Your goal is to get to a safe comfortable altitude and stay there (no up and down) and you want to use rudder rather then ailerons to keep your wings level while turning. This method helps a lot to avoid wallowing around the sky and avoiding tip stalls. PS I've seen guys flying for years that cannot hand launch that good lol your getting the hang of that👍 Have fun guys👍

It was fun, but it would be even funnier if I could take off and land too, "I'm glad that I didn't pick a Jet for a first plane.😄 Lol Thanks for checking out the fun Daniel.😁👍

Attention all flyers. Drop a comment on this one. He welcomes your constructive criticism. What went wrong here? Clearly the box said. "It's easy" Keep in mind. This Guy can out drive you. Big rig, small rig, 2 wheels or 4 wheels. In the real world he can back a trailer up 100 yards right on top of the acorn that you wanted to cover up, without chasing. The question is Did safe get him to 6 flights or did it make him struggle thru ,3?

I just checked out your channel "to see if you had anything that you were talking about pictured there" and I was surprised to see that you didn't,😕 but as an inventor I can understand why you wouldn't want people seeing new products and ideas, 🙄 Since the majority are out for themselves, and are always on the lookout for someone to step on, in order to get ahead in life.😕 And then the next thing that I was surprised about, Was that you weren't subscribed to my channel 😕 ? As far as seeing your collection; I've got two suggestions 😕 #1 You can try emailing them to me at the email address that's attached to my channel profile, (by clicking "View channel" and then clicking on, or scrolling over to my channel info, to see my Email address, "Which is something that I suggested on a previous comment a few weeks ago" #2 or the second suggestion for viewing your collection; Record a short video of your collection, and then Post it up on your KZread channel.😄👍
