If ya really wanted some beautiful land for much less cost but nearer to large population amenities (if you needed them?). Like airports, hospitals and stores. I'd look at eastern Ohio and western West Virginia. Lots of rolling hills at the foothills of the Appalachias. Good chances of finding land with Free Natural Gas for heating in the winter. Lower property taxes. Plenty of fresh water. I've been daydreaming for a few years about this myself. You can get 40 acres for about $130,000 that has free nat gas, ample trees to cut, well water (or water catchment systems), 70% of the sunlight in Arizona for potential solar. As off grid as you wanted to be. But somewhat close to civilization. FYI our winters in the most recent years have been relatively mild in this area.
2971/640 = number of square miles for reference. Apx 4 1/2 sq miles
Montana is awesome! Very pricey, though.
I'm from Montana and I'll just say that unless you're millionaires, you might want to look for somewhere other than Montana to retire. At least when it comes to ranches or plots of land in the Western part of the state. They are VERY expensive.
I'm from Atlanta Georgia. There's something wrong with the horizon in that video, it's too big :-)
That's a lot to mow.
The advert is putting alot of spit and polish on this place. At that price you'll need some net worth and income (read CEO, professional athlete, hedge fund owner, et al.). Alot of upkeep in a house that size, and its massive sq footage and customized interior may not be to your liking. Does the ranch make money? Beef cattle? What is an "animal unit"? On 3,000 acres you can only graze 150 cattle?? Yellowstone river is close by, occasionally polluted by accidental spills, so are grizzly bears. To the north is Bozeman but I saw a documentary about how expensive Bozeman is and locals are actually living in their RV's they can't afford to buy a house.
4.64 square miles. Yeah, this isn't gonna be affordable. Gaynor pretty much nailed the price, even before watching the video!
Clarksons farm is 1000 acres.
LOOK UP DUDE RANCH FOR COMPANY!...MAGA...
To be honest, that’s probably one of the most tedious Bob Ross paintings I’ve ever seen. His general landscape pieces come together much more relaxing and enjoyable to watch come together. Purely my opinion.
Awesome! That autistic kid is quite high functioning... Bless you guys for taking him on holiday ❤
💙🇺🇲 To big for us introverts, as there would be the need for an army of workers to be imployed!!!😱
27 million is just the beginning. The payroll for the employees, the up keep, the management etc. is over a million per year, I’m sure.
And when Yellowstone go s, everything is gone for 500 mile radius.
flew into Bozeman Jan 16, 2024, --33 degrees F (-36C)..........just saying
Office Bloke Day: check out the beautiful State of OREGON.
In the1980s I purchased 20 acres in the Rocky Mountains of Montana for $20,000. Best thing I've ever done.
Oh you guys should do that, good idea, try to copy him and film it for us to see 😂
Please spend a year in Montana , before you buy a place ! Not everyone will thrive here. Nobody talks about the- -40- -50 degree winters....winds of 15-25 winds are common .causing drifts over roads , as tall as a semi . Our winters can start in Sept. and last until may. Just know what your getting into.
640 acres per 1 square mile- 2971= 4.6 square miles
About 5 square miles....
Location matters as the West side of the Rockies are not nearly as cold as the Eastern side.
The navy seal who killed usama bin Laden is from Bozeman Montana.
Her outfit!! what a beautiful lady!...and ranch.
Miami Florida
"It's like 4x bigger" oh my sweet summer child
Open door border and mass immigraiton from muslim countries ruined Sweden.
Heathrow Airport is a little over 3,000 acres.
Floridian here!! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t own several guns,.. Kids here learn to shoot at an early age. The citizens in our town would quickly come to an officer’s rescue with guns blazing like a John Wayne western!
3000 acres is huge. That's 4.69 square miles!
Just over 1200 hectares Realistically if you want something similar, not exact but similar for way cheaper try closer to home...Scotland. Say northwestern just saw beautiful 500 acres/200 hectares £4.5 mil.
Bozemans nickname is bozangelos because it's a college town, very expensive and ruined by out of state influence (not the good states).
correction 2,971ac/640ac=4.642sq miles or 12.023sq kilometers.
Sitka is a town in Alaska?
Yep wait till winter hits. Look out jack.
2971 acres that is pretty much 3000 acres!
There are 640 acres = 1 square mile. So 2,971ac/640ac =4.642sq miles, or 2.59sq kilometers.
It is too big, so you won't have very much privacy because you will have to hire too many people to help you maintain such a big ranch. It doesn't look that good by itself. Try looking in South Dakota in the Black Hills area for s 5 acres property that will be less than $1 million.
I never comment on any of these videos or the Office Blokes videos, but I have to say, I've NEVER heard Daz this quiet through an entire video! 😂😂😂
Why did Aiden think that this list would have NFL stadiums?????
You can't only look at the initial cost of the property, but how much will it cost to properly maintain the property
The American girl is quite attractive but a slog to listen too. I guess like most attractive women.
That's about 1200 hectares.
Biscuts with (ground) sausage gravy, 2 eggs over easy or sunny side up, with hash browns and some bacon if you have the room (in you stomach) for it. It's the southern breakfast of champions. Lol
Utah or Idaho.
I'm genuinely shocked at how little they know. It was embarrassing to watch.
3000 acres is pretty small for a cattle ranch in Montana. Just for comparison, the largest ranch in the state is 130,000 acres. In fact, 3000 acres is not that big for any food growing operation West of the Mississippi. Many farms and ranches utilize 10,000-20,000 acres. East of the Mississippi is a different story. 3000 acres would be considered a pretty big piece of land there.
If you do go there visit Livingston, really a nice town.
you better Jeck the weather extremes before you buy anything
