I have never heard anything bad about Conan. 😊 I was surprised at how long it took him to react to the hot sauce. The food all over his face was making me feel sick too 😂😂😂

Some animals can never be fully domesticated. Water buffaloes are one of them.

Conan has a very lively fan base but I think over all he’s extremely underrated in the mainstream. He’s been going at 120% everyday for 30 years and anything he shows up on he completely takes over the scene. Might as well pack it up Hot ones, you’re not going to be able to top this episode. Absolute legend.

I've been a fan since the very beginning in '93/'94 and I love him dearly. ...but "underrated in the mainstream"??? He literally had a _mainstream TV show_ 5 nights a week for decades - and not only is he a household name in America, but all over the world. He's one of the most famous comics of all time. Can we just retire the word "underrated" until we can all learn to use it responsibly? Lmfao

After the first time they paused the video and started talking, I checked the length of their video vs the the run time of the actual hot ones video and immediately I knew that they didn’t watch the ending🤦🏻‍♂️😏

Conan use to be a writer for The Simpsons back in the day. And on audio commentary they just praised him saying he is one of the funniest guys and the closest they have seen to a real life Simpsons character. He was always doing jokes and bits to cheer people up. They mention that even when no one was around you could still catch him doing crazy stuff by himself and he really doesn't have an off switch, its just who he is.

The whole reason he was chosen to take the role was because of how genuinely funny he is off the cuff and in every day situations. His remotes and now his podcast really show off his sharp wit and quick punchlines.

Conan has a few episodes on his podcast where he talks about this. He said it was painful, but he figure he would deal with that after he did the show.

The very first episode of his show is so funny!! Nobody knew who he was and a lot of people expected him to fail because he was taking David Letterman's place, and he was the king of late night comedy.

Conan had his "Doctor" on his podcast after this... It is pretty funny.

There's a clip on his KZread channel talking about the aftermath of this. Yeah, they weren't putting "fake" sauces in the bottles. He suffered.

Conan was an absolute beast here. When you compare this to Gordon Ramsay whining and crying and going through every possible histrionic, Conan really separated the men from the boys.

Love Conan and his mind is as sharp as ever. If you follow his podcast, it’s insane the random stuff he comes up with and develops it into a hilarious sketch that could easily be an SNL sketch. But I think he is past his prime as far as physical comedy is concerned. It’s just that he has aged quite a bit in the last decade and it seems more like insane yelling rants than hilarity when he does over the top animated comedy now. He could effortlessly pull it off upto a decade ago. Watch more of his older remotes and segments, they are a laugh riot🤣
