12 turnovers by both teams. The chiefs had 16 takeaways in 2 consecutive weeks vs the cardinals and chiefs

I seem to remember Duriel Harris making a bunch of leaping grabs that season, I think he had 2 against Dallas. Thanks for the post!

13:00 Kozlowski with the only Dolphins defensive score all season. He had three in his seven year career, not bad for a 10th round pick who only started three games.

I was disappointed that the Dolphins lost to the Chargers. I think they should have won that game. And I am sure in my heart that if they had won, they would have gone on to beat the Bengals. But it wasn't meant to be.

Marino is the greatest QB of all time. I get it we only count rings, but pure QB play and instincts no one was greater.

The steelers needed an exorcist to exercise those demons in their offensive attack in those first 4 games. 27 yards in the first half? Are these the new york jets?

Mandich always had one of those one liners on his radio show. He was a character. I later learned he passed away. Hard to believe it's been so long.

Bob Griese his induction. Without him, the 1972 Miami Dolphins would have been worthless. Yes, Don Shula gets a lot of credit for that undefeated season, but don't sell Bob short.

David Woodley was terrific against weak defenses but failed against strong ones. In the playoffs leading up to his Superbowl, Woodley was outstanding against San Diego and New England, but struggled mightily against the Jets and Redskins. Still, he was my boyhood hero. R.I.P.

I am sorting through old game tickets and still have my ticket for this game that I bought from a ticket scalper outside the stadium that afternoon. I was there that afternoon on holiday from London, supporting The Dolphins of course. I was 19 years old. I remember the hype around Dickerson. The only NRL game I ever went to. I did play a few games back in England as a wide receiver when American Football took off in London for a while. I live in New Zealand now and follow rugby these days.

If Mark Clayton made that catch in the playoffs, it might be considered one of the best catches of all time and talked about more. Also, the music to these highlights makes it even better because this is the best Primetime theme of all time.

Woodley had talent, but was still raw and needed development. Marino was a generational talent who starter-ready from day one.

I’m a Raider fan, but when I heard Jim Mandich’s “Alright Miami!”, it feels so good especially when Dan Marino pass to either a wide receiver, a tight end, or a running back for a touchdown. For me, it is equivalent to “Touchdown Raiders!”. Even though he died so young when I was a kid, I always love his famous call especially during Dan Marino era. Marino was always one of my idols but when I watch his highlights, I always heard Jim Mandich’s “Alright Miami!” call and I loved it! I didn’t know too much about him but now I know him despite he’s already died. I wished that he still doing some “Alright Miami!” calls especially when Tua was the quarterback now for the Dolphins.
