1982 Wk 16 Dolphins Beat Bills 27-10; Edit with Radio Call
Спорт
The Miami Dolphins defeat the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night by scoring 27 unanswered points during the strike-shortened 1982 season. The game was originally blacked-out in the Miami area due to NFL TV broadcast rules at the time. WIOD's radio broadcast includes Rick Weaver, Hank Goldberg and Henry Barrow. TV broadcast credit ABC.
Owned by the NFL. I post these videos purely to show the history of the game for football fans enjoyment, stemming from our family's 50+ years love of Dolphins football. Thanks!

I was in the upper deck that night. I was 13. I begged my dad to take me, and he did. The seats were nose-bleed/base camp, but it didn't matter, it was heaven for me. I still remember the chant: "WHAT DO WE EAT? BUFFALO MEAT.! WHEN DO WE EAT? NOW!" "WHAT DO WE EAT? BUFFALO MEAT.! WHEN DO WE EAT? NOW!" And repeat. It was my first of what would be a couple of dozen night games at the Orange Bowl (between Fins Monday Night games and Canes games). Nothing like watching football at the Orange Bowl at night. Magic.
Thanks for putting up these vids. Looking back at the 81 & 82 seasons, I am in awe of the running game and defense. Also Woodley’s bootlegs were fantastic!
I was at this game !!! Thanks for posting.
Miss your stuff Woodstrock15 ! Especially during the long offseason time. Hopefully we get to see more stuff from you soon, it is like gold to me and us long time Dolfans.
I remember this game, I was 16 living just outside buffalo, And boy how quickly this version of( Chuck Knox's buffalo bills) crumbled, They still had the best defense in the league, but offensively they became woeful, Ferguson became a int machine, You barely heard names like Lewis, butler, (Bills wr) being called anymore Joe Cribbs became the whole offense Knox's left the next season it got worse. It was short but really sweet.
Thank you so much for posting this!
Miss the videos from you Woodstrock........ great memories for sure. Love seeing the Shula stuff. Sad he is no longer with us.
I was there, the first NFL game for a Canadian kid....what a blast.
Thanks for the memories.
As always awesome stuff ! Thank you !!!
In this season were two Joe Fergusons, one good in the pre-strike and one awful in the post-strike
For Buffalo, the Orange Bowl was their Amityville Horror
My brother in law was down from Michigan. I bought tickets to this game. It’s the loudest I’ve ever heard the OB!
amazing again !
29:25 the ref lol 😂
Thanks for posting - I’ve been looking for the full MNF Intro from 1982 for awhile - it’s basically the only year on YT that isn’t represented with a full intro, and it’s unique just to that year. Any chance you can post it? Thanks either way.

I uploaded it and it was immediately blocked worldwide by KZread due to copyright claim. That could explain why this year isn't represented!

@@jrdurr2 Not sure if I asked before, but do you have anything from the 1981 Eagles @ Dolphins game in terms of the highlights you send out like this video here ? That night was pretty wild, the crowd noise was epic and Shula was going nuts for a good part of that game yelling at the refs !
Woodstrock15, love your content. Any chance we could touch base via email to discuss video trading? I have tried emailing you at the address you list for business purposes a number of times but so far no response.
