What kind of supplement do you use in the feed
why is lamb and sheep meat so strong tasting lol
Great question! Recently I watched a video on how to cook lamb by Jamie Oliver. He discussed interesting points about how the different types of lamb cuts are best cooked to ensure the flavour is delicious. The method it’s cooked can improve and impact how strong tasting it is. The conversation then described that some countries (not all) were highly discouraging people from eating lamb. So, many people (not all) did stop eating lamb meat. The point to this is; that because we are unaccustomed to lamb meat, we have not developed the taste for it, many of us struggle to cook it successfully because we don’t experience it regularly and this could be reason for why many describe it to be strong tasting. Thanks for asking 😀
@@ambryacres Thank you. Now do Canadians eat more lamb than Americans and how is it usually prepared in Canada, most popular way to eat it?
Canada is multi cultural and many cultures are eating lamb. The market is expanding in Canada as is sheep farming. There’s many manners to consider when cooking lamb. We BBQ chops and mix ground lamb with beef to make delicious burgers. Then top them with feta cheese, red onion and cucumber slices. Personally I prefer this mix as I too find the taste to be strong. Mixing it with beef and cooking the burgers on BBQ makes for a milder flavour. These types of burgers can also be topped with the similar topping of an all beef hamburger. I have offered a few people in my family this mix of burger and not mentioned the lamb meat and they didn’t question what was in it nor did they dislike it 👍
Where is the recipe ?
I am curious why you wean your lambs at 8 weeks? Thanks for the video!
We need more of your videos not shorts
Where did you source your tarp barn? I am looking for something of a similar to slightly larger size. What is the price roughly per square foot?
We are renting the coveralls. They were not being used by the owner so unfortunately I am not able to answer your questions. We had inquired on pricing a few years ago but the prices have dramatically changed. Good luck with your project 🙏
What type of corn do you use?

hopefully the chemical paint isnt harmful for the animals
They clearly don’t care about their animals
@@OfficialBexPerhaps, the paint has no harmful chemicals?
No it’s safe to use. It’s water based
@officialbex no that’s 100% not true. This is a common practice used by many sheep farmers and it is a step taken because we do in fact care about our livestock. We would not be livestock farming if we didn’t care about the wellbeing of our animals.
@@ambryacres Great to know this. Thank you.
ANNOYING SONG!!!!
Can I sheep have enough milk for 4 babies
It’s possible. We tend to pull any extra lambs from the mama and feed by milk machine or bottle. We only leave two lambs to feed from mama’s to ensure they get adequate feed and to not put too much strain on the ewe as this could negatively impact her body condition. This approach seems to work well for our setup. 😀
