The ewes diet is altered to help encourage the stopping of milk production. So we don’t actually do anything with it because the ewe dries up and stops milk production until she lambs again next time .

What is creep feed?

Creep feed is a corn, barley, minerals and protein ground and mixed together. It is fed to the lambs only along with hay. They begin eating creep and hay within the first week of age and they gradually eat more as they grow . They can eat as much as they like and it’s always available to them. So when it’s time to wean them off milk they adapt quite nicely 🙏
