Aussie/German living in Tokyo, working a full time job at a Japanese Company! I LOVE travelling & exploring Japan, so join me for my travel adventures!
This is so cool! This is really worth checking out!! All of your videos are so entertaining and educational! This reflects a lot of thought on your part to pick a theme, develop a script, film your video, and edit it. Great, great job!!

Great video. Japan is a polite place, so when your boss 'suggested' you wear make-up, they are actually telling you to so.

About the pension payments, there is a form you can fill once you leave Japan for good, but the amount is fixed according to the time you worked. It's not much, but it's something. There are also pension exception forms you can apply to so it's not deducted from your paycheck at all.

You should value your time. If i'm being forced to work 20 OT every week, they better be paying me for working 2 jobs. Here in the US I have 3 jobs, but I make sure its worth every penny and I still get 8 hrs of sleep.

In regards of the pension thing, you should work a remote job for an Australian company and simply live in Japan.

Well didn't you pick one incredible place to experience your first ever Baseball Game, the historic Koshien Stadium. Too bad it wasn't a Friday or Saturday Night game in the middle of the season, the place would have been packed. BTW, the prices on food and drinks at an American Baseball game make Airport prices look like child's play. It is insane.

11:05 its called that because "soba" just means noodles lol. SO technically all ramen is soba. If you were to tell a native Japanese speaker you had "soba" they will assume something like ramen rather than the "soba style noodle." Loving the video though!

I recognized, have tried and enjoyed several of these chain restaurants, and was happy you were enthusiastic about them, too! I honestly miss them and really wish some of them would open here near me. Like MOS Burger and Komeda. I kinda wish i had bought a mug the last time I was in Taiwan (They have a lot of the same chains there, too.) Saizeriya, I fear might flounder here in Cali, because there are already plenty of Italian chains.
