Oh to be young again. Sydney lady here that loved Japan. In the early 90’s I spent 2 years living just outside of Tokyo and you reminded me of those days wearing your bucket style hat. I had 3 very similar ones to yours in different colours and I wore one when days were cool. Most women wore one when they went out. Anyway, I always enjoy watching you showing everyone around, including this one. xx

Aw thanks guys! 🥹 I actually don’t use that many Japanese products (none at the moment).. it’s mainly just a mix of rare beauty & Lancôme! My fav product at the moment is a shiny highlighter!
Sitting here in my AirBNB in Itabashi, tired from walking around in Sangenjaya and Shibuja - watching Your Video walking around in Shibuja. Always fun to watch Your Videos, I quite prefer Your "average day" ones - and today its of cause very special to watch it. Thank You for sharing it, cant wait to see more when Im back home 🌸

Allergy in spring time sounds so familiar. Evening lights in cafe look so fascinating.
I absolutely love the rain, having the rainy vibe in Tokyo just makes me so happy and relaxed...Wonderful video😊
Loved watching this :) You don't even need all the consumption in it, it's just fun to "hang out" with you in Tokio.
Just love the amazing life you’ve carved out, in Japan. Not only are your Japanese language skills MORE than adequate (more like, WAY past what is expected), but your love/appreciation of Japanese culture must be highly endearing to the locals. In regard to hey fever/allergies, how is the selection/effectiveness of Japanese-approved antihistamines? I felt the wrath of the sugi the last time I was there, and my most-likely contraband U.S. antihistamine worked pretty well.
I love it when you say a particular food you’re eating is vegan .with me being vegan. I’ll be there in just four more weeks, hoping to find things that I can eat. Thank you.
Oh man I miss Tokyo when I see this! I used to live there for 2 years as a student, but now, 10 years later, I'm back to Shizuoka, but as a married woman 😆 Enjoy Tokyo!!
4:10 i just moved to japan and i hope i dont develop that 😷 never had any allergies. also you mentioned that there arent many healthy places to eat out and i couldnt agree more! i've been going to nakau like 3-4x a week because they have an oyakodon + miso soup + salad combination (and lots of other combos) for only around 700yen. it's one of the few times i can eat vegetables 😭 teishoku restaurants are also pretty good
You squeezed in a lot to do in one day! But, it was a lovely day and it nice of you to take us along. You remind me of the college students who volunteer with me at UCLA Medical Center. Safe travels!
Thank you for sharing your day with us. I love how much Tokyo I miss. Glad to be living via your channel.
I'm the same, once I start eating for "no reason", sure enough, there it is...haha
Ia appreciate it SO much that you mention dietary options when you go eat. Gives me a little hope that I could visit Japan !
That potato soup at Soup Stock looks great. Need to give it a try. 200 for that Muji chair seems like a deal. Pretty nice. Really enjoy when you go to restaurants that we have never tried in Japan.
I feel for you! I also became allergic a few years ago, wearing a mask helps a lot on top of the meds!
yay, thank you for uploading and taking us around that’s nice
Muji looks like an awesome place to visit. Very reasonable prices 🫶
In addition to a really good blender they probably pass the soup through a fine sieve to sift out the "larger" particles. That's one technique restaurants use to get that velvety smooth soup.

I do that too, but I find the flavours are stronger and more present after blending so end up doing it anyway haha
Also love the vid! You should definitely do more like this
I always love the chill vibes in your videos! ^-^ Very relaxing and good to watch.
I had also very strong allergies against weed and pollens, nearly 20 years ago I made a so called slit sub lingual immune therapy ; basically every day for over 2 years a small drop of allergens poured in water under the tongue in the morning since then I have never gotten allergy again I can run now out to the nature Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 hope I hear you speak more German in that one video with your German friend you sounded very nice 👍
❤❤❤sending love and support from Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
You are so beautiful. NIce day you had. I hope you feel better soon.
i love Lupicia...went crazy with their teas when i visited years ago especially their cookie tea! Hope ur allergys get better soon and can't wait for your new uploads.
You're such a practical shopper!
Aloha! A very enjoyable video to watch as I take care of cleaning house and eating breakfast.😊
3:51 "'Rice is okay; soy beans, peanut, _wheat._ I was worried I was gluten-free cuz I had some digestion problems..." For years and years I thought that I might have a gluten intolerance, but it turned out that I am allergic to _baker's yeast,_ which of course is used in most things that have gluten in them! "Correlation is not causation," as they say.
Love these vlogs! 💕
Thankyou for your vids, travelling tomorrow from Sydney for a few weeks to the land I was fascinated in since around 10? But never ended up there. Your vids have a been great, thankyou and I know I'll be back again after this. Thanks mate.
I really enjoy your videos! You are so enthusiastic!
Love your shopping videos and I miss shopping in Japan. So much cheaper than in North America.
Hello, I could swear I just saw you in Kyoto! Thanks for the video
Love a day in a life video
I Love the little Sakura you have on your desk!! I want one so bad for my work desk but they are so hard to find here! Much love from Arizona 💜💜

You're pretty gorgeous. Love your mundane vids. ❤
Really love Falafel Brothers ❤❤❤ Always worth a visit! Even had a "Fischers Fritz fischt frische Fische" tounge twister battle with one of the german employees there. 🤣

I love your content Sara. Makes me want to get up there from OZ ....
I loved falafel brothers when I was in Japan. Because I'm a vegan and who doesn't like falafel and hummus even if they aren't vegan. I also tried their pizza it was a little too soggy for me because of all the tomato and mushrooms that were on it but I hope they have different ones like focaccia for the next time I'm there! (Plus the pizza was very expensive 😅). The falafel was amazing though! I took a takeaway salad bowl type thing once and it was very fresh (also had falafel). And for the pita ones I think you can choose like 3 toppings? They also had 3 bottles of different sauces (some were based on level of spiciness). I also liked their lotus root chips! The branch where I ate the pizza was the one with the big fake tree in the middle of the restaurant (don't know if they still have that) but they also had wine at that one. And at both the branches I went to the staff was really great! I completely recommend falafel brothers! P.S. if you ever come to South Africa you should try Falafel King! (some supermarkets here sell their frozen falafel and it tastes really fresh and yummy! I especially like the original one which isn't spicy but there is also a roasted red pepper flavored one and another really spicy one).

I find fluticasone propionate nasal inhalers are a lifesaver for me during hay fever season. The American brand name is Flonase and possibly Flunase in Japan. It’s a corticosteroid so I probably wouldn’t use it year round but during springtime it pretty much stops all of my allergy symptoms. Check it out.
Awesome!! wish for for new updates~~

If you can't eat seafood, I'm curious as to how you go with miso, or anything that uses bonito as a base? It was practically in every broth on my visits and avoiding it would be difficult.

Do you have the option of requesting the same doctor again for future appointments? When I find a doctor I click with I ask for an appointment with them even if I have to wait a little longer.
