The reason for Ben Solo (Who was I think was four or five years old at the time.), Han Solo and Leia Organa’s absences in Ashoka (2023) with C-3PO, Leia and Han’s protege and Admiral Ackbar and Mon Mothama appearing in the New Republic Senate on Chandrila in their place was because Han and Leia were too busy raising Ben to do their responsibilities as a New Republic senator and shipper.
I really hope they continue this remaster trend. Episode I Racer, The Clone Wars, Republic Commando, and Jedi Academy would all be amazing if remastered well (the old X-Wing games too). Honestly, what I'd really like is a modern podracing game, can't believe they haven't seen the potential in that.

TPM is a movie that introduced a new generation to the saga and made it right, unlike the Sequels. the first thing I did after seeing this film is ask my mom to rent old SW VHS from local vides store, the non-Special Edition versions, and thank god I saw the originals as they came out. This film has a special place in my heart. Unlike TFA which I was hyped for but then got dissapointed like millions of fans out there. the sequels didn't did for the new generation what the prequels did to me, kids of today don't give a fuck about Luke Skywalker. A shame indeed.

There is an underlying agenda, and ignoring it, is just not wanting to acknowledge it. That's fine, but the gender DEI is clearly more important than actual lore storytelling and the handling of the new star wars franchise with little planning and care.
Whoa… I would watch any Pauly Shore movie over the Acolyte. I couldn’t get into it because of the dialogue and nonsensical decisions the characters make and the plot takes. No bueno. It’s like boba fett and obiwan all over again. Right now I’m just waiting for Andor 2.
What do you mean an official release doesn't exist? What do you think the 2006 DVDs or the VHS from before 1997 are? "But those aren't HD" Neither were the movies originally.

I haven’t started it. I dont know if I will, I hear all the hate. I also understand if The Acolyte is in its own lane, i dont know I haven’t watched it yet. But I will say, what I know happened in episode 4 just hearing about it, angers me enough alone, for the sake of how it just shouldn’t have happened and it needs to be addressed. I feel the witch stuff is dumb but whatever, I’ll probably move past that as long as it just stays where it is and doesn’t affect anything else in the larger canon/universe.

This was one of the few SW materials that was my first introduction to the franchise (aside from my mum buying a Jar Jar plush when I was a baby). This game means alot to me because of that and because the game is fantastic. Jango Fett is one of my favourite characters because of this game. Having met Temuera Morrison almost two months ago at a con, being able to meet the man who played a character I was obsessed with, was so cool and an honour (he was both cool and a genuinely nice fella) I am nervous about the re release because of Aspyr messing up the battlefront collection, but considering this is a strictly single player and not as big of a project, there is hope. They did a good job porting the PS2 version of TFU over to the switch.
Would love to hear your thoughts once all episodes are out. So far I´m enjoying it, but it will depend on how they do the finale if I´lll call it an interesting- or fantastic show.
As someone who would be probably labeled "conservative" in America, I think this whole "woke" controversity laughable XD sure some things are there if you want to pick the show apart, but what I look for is story, characters, morals, and so far everything was solid
As always well put. My issue with The Acolyte is mainly the editing, but since fandoms always get infested with loudmouths spewing toxic BS it's an opinion I've mostly just kept to myself (except for this comment, lol). There's a lot that could be better with Disney's handling of Star Wars, but they have made really great stuff as well. So I'll just see what comes up and move on if it's not my thing.

I really don't care if 1000 changes will make a movie better. It is so incredibly important to preserve art as it was originally created. So, so important. The passage of time is a fascinating thing, that movie is almost 50 years old already. Adding new cgi just completely taints the original creation. Movies are a window to the past; it is really fascinating for me to see how things were made back in the day. And by editing it and adding new stuff decades later, you just butcher it.

I don't really care about any of the creators real life politics. Arcane was fantastic and that was about as woke as it gets. In this case, I just don't think the writing was any good. You could go off about all the lore breaking (which there is lots of), but if it's entertaining enough, I generally don't really give a shit. This show is just cringy to me.

Yea, I like the broadstrokes of the story and the general plot, but the show is like flat soda. Manny Jacinto and Lee Jung-jae are the standouts, but other than that, I'm pretty over the discourse. Both extremes on both sides are pretty annoying. You got the holier than thou mocking attitudes of one side and the never ending bitchfest on the other.
What a very intelligent and mature response. Even though I like the show, this video still felt very welcoming. It also pisses me off when people miss the point. Like blasting that interview where Charlie mistakenly said Anakin instead of Luke blowing up the Death Star. He was trying to make a good argument about how there’s consequences for both good and bad. Like how this show is deconstructing the Jedi.

The problem is that space ships would not use STEEL. None do today. None would in that universe. Magnets would not work.

Bounty Hunter is a very Prequels game and I think there's a lot of nostalgia goggle wearers here. The story is fine, but nothing to write home about. The voice acting is pretty good. But the combat is crap and the difficulty and save systems are at times brutal. Also the bounty hunting system has no impact on the actual game. It's a game I'd watch remastered, but wouldn't play again.

I did think it was weird prequel fans don't like it as much because Acolyte feels very prequel like too. And I was even taken aback when they said the prequels are so well written and the best of Star Wars. And being an older fan, I'm like, what the hell are you talking about? Sure it paved way for the Clone Wars series which is good Star Wars, but the prequels can be so bad. Rots being better, but still has some awkward parts. Am I going to hate people for that? No. I still like those movies too, but I'm not going to pretend they are well written. You also can't ignore the criticism those movies got back then and how very comparable it was to what's going on now.
