I actually agree, in part. By itself TLJ is a pretty good movie, great visuals, acting and some great themes. Though as part of a trilogy and an overall story I think it's pretty bad, more of a movie trying to deconstruct and overhaul it's own story instead of actually being part of it. It's amazing how a movies' inherent quality could just come down to your own perspective of it.

Despite the way Luke was managed in The Last Jedi being by far my most disliked and hated moment in the entire saga I always look at this movie with respect due to it daring to go through with a vision that the writers and the director felt was a compelling story, specially in todays cinema where every movie must hit all the predictibility checkbox of how many cameos or references we can get.

I also agree with this. I liked TLJ when I left the theater but when I watched reviews I did admit it isn’t perfect. But at least it had its own vision (even if it maybe threw off everything they were attempting to do). I guess that’s what they get for not planning the trilogy out ahead of time.

I gotta agree. I’m a big fan of The Last Jedi. The Force Awakens was pretty enjoyable if a bit bland at times, and The Rise of Skywalker was a bit of a mess, in my opinion. The Last Jedi felt as though it was genuinely made by someone with a story to tell, and the other two felt more like Disney and Lucasfilm trying to pack their wallets by reopening on a franchise which, if I’m going to be honest, I think peaked forty years ago.

There are some popular and quite vocal KZreadrs who hate TLJ (whatever, have your opinion) and Andor (somehow?!), and the only things that they like in any Star Wars project is a flashy lightsaber battle or non-stop Easter eggs and cameos. I’ve seen the movies, haven’t seen any of the shows, so I’ll rank them here: 1- The Last Jedi 2- Rogue One 3- The Force Awakens 4- Solo 5- The Rise of Skywalker The Last Jedi, for me, is definitely the most over-hated Star Wars thing I’ve seen. I personally find it to be a good, well made film, with brilliant visuals, an interesting story and likeable characters. Granted, it’s not perfect. The pacing is a bit off, and the fourth act feels a little tacked on. Not that it’s bad, but by the time we’ve gotten to the battle on Krait it feels like the movie should be over.

Pretty much agree with everything here apart from Ahsoka. I guess it’s that clone wars / rebels nostalgia that sells it to me. I get what you mean about some of the acting and some staleness here and there. I would say what offsets that for me is the action, mystery surrounding almost all of the characters and the dynamics between the characters. I have to credit Filoni on his ability to make enticing characters particularly by their relation with others. Ahsoka, Sabine, Huyang, Skoll, Hati, Morgan… there are interactions between them all that really draw me in. I would say that this is a series that is brilliant at tying in the other aspects of Filoni’s projects through the character of Ahsoka, which speaks to me as a fan who felt that this story is in need of a satisfying end.

To me it goes like this, from top tier to bottom: - Andor (I'm still astonished at this series, it gave me an SW experience that I only got from the OT and the very best of the Legends EU books) - The Last Jedi, Rogue One (TLJ is the only Sequel movie with actual thought and vision behind it, somewhat inconsistent, but at least RJ was trying to break new ground. Loved Luke and the Ben-Rey connection, mostly enjoyed Poe's arc, was bored with Canto Bight and the double climax was a bit much. Rogue One was a tremendous war movie, down and dirty, atmospheric and memorable, but it remains the only SW movie I can only enjoy when I'm in the right mood for it.) - The Force Awakens, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi (I was okay with TFA, nothing groundbreaking, but nothing overly bad, either, JJ played it safe, generally a fun movie. The Mandalorian is not my cup of tea, not my favored type of hero, theme and storytelling in general, but I appreciate the early stuff more in retrospect. Obi-Wan was also nothing much story-wise, a forgettable series, but Ewan McGregor's charisma sold it to me, loved seeing him back in the role.) - Solo, The Book of Boba Fett (Solo remains the only SW movie I never bothered to rewatch, I came out of the cinema feeling utterly indifferent about the whole thing - again, nothing overly bad, but absolutely nothing to captivate me, either. With Boba Fett, there were a few things that I liked, but they didn't have a proper story in mind, Temuera with all due respect, is not McGregor and the Mandalorian S2.5 episodes genuinely pissed me off, mostly Deepfake Luke's stuff with Grogu). - The Rise of Skywalker (The only SW movie I literally can't stand. Watched it twice in the cinema, instantly disliked it, went back to it 2 years later and it seemed even worse. I hated that there was no concept, that they undid everything TLJ did well in a panic to please fans, all of the Palpatine stuff, the convenient jumps from point A to point B and making every single sacrifice in the movie utterly meaningless but undoing every single one of them, Chewie, Threepio, Zorii, Rey included. Yuck.) Jury is still out for Ahsoka, but up until this point, it's somewhere among Tiers 3 and 4. Haven't seen the Bad Batch and enjoyed Tales of the Jedi, but I don't feel comfortable ranking that.

Very interesting to hear that someone thought a project was too serious. I personally think that’s when Star Wars is at its best. Untimely jokes and silliness is a massive tick for me. Especially when they throw off a very serious moment with a gag. Which is why I love rogue one. It takes it self so seriously and when there are jokes they are well timed and they land. Honestly first time I’ve heard someone say they didn’t love rogue one. But hey whateve. You have a great attitude and approach to this topic.

Solid ranking Greedo. I think I would have TFA and TLJ a bit lower though. TLJ is the best movie from the ST, it has a lot of great ideas, but the execution wasn't great. You mention that it does something new, but I don't think it really does that. TLJ is basically a mix of ESB and ROTJ. From the Disney Star Wars movies, I think Solo is the best. Really fun movie and the music is so good. From the shows, I've enjoyed Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Andor the most. I know Obi-Wan seems to be a mixed bag in the fandom, but I personally enjoyed it. IMO, I think the Siege of Mandalore arc from Season 7 of Clone Wars is the best thing from Disney Star Wars.

This video came at a great time for me. Not because of Ahsoka, but because I just rewatched the unaltered OT… and I kind of forgot what they were like-what Star Wars started as. I watched Rogue One recently, and like HG, it wasn’t my favorite when it came out. I think the good outweighs the bad a lot more now, though. It aged well. Then I started playing 2015 Battlefront and got reminded of how much I loved TFA when it came out. The last time I saw it, it was still one of my favorite movies ever. I’ve been thinking of rewatching the sequels, and I have to say, I’m most excited for TFA. Yeah, it’s fan-service, but unlike Filoni’s projects, it’s fan-service for EVERYONE. You don’t have to be a Clone Wars binger to enjoy it. You said it best-it’s a warm blanket. The memories from that time are incredibly special to me. My eight-year-old cousin fell in love with Star Wars because of Rey, which made me fall in love with the magic all over again too. It was going to be a new generation, what I thought… was going to be dedicated to quality. I think HG and I were both too optimistic, but hey, sometimes being too optimistic makes you really freaking happy. I look forward to seeing how the sequels will make me feel if I watch them today. My cousin is in high school now and doesn’t really care about Rey or Star Wars anymore. I kinda think Disney failed her, which makes me more disappointed than them failing me. But I guess Rey’s story isn’t over. Maybe I’ll watch that movie with her and it’ll help us reconnect old memories. Thanks for uploading this, HG. To this day, you’re still my favorite KZreadr. By far. You do what you want, and I can tell. I honestly kind of love when you criticize stuff you don’t like because it reminds us all as fans that critiquing the quality doesn’t mean we hate Star Wars, in fact, it means we love it all the more.

Always refreshing to see your level headed takes. I largely agree with your points, although Rogue One really works for me. It's also so nice to go to a safe space to say I like the last Jedi without having to constantly deal with backlash! I agree with the Mando take, for the most part, season 2 I felt walked the line between being its own thing and fan service. However, season 3 was not very rewarding to watch at all for the very reasons you mentioned. In regards to Ahsoka, I'm willing to reserve judgement until its finished. Filoni has a habit of backloading his stories with the most exciting parts, I'm hoping we see an upward slant in plotting now we're halfway, especially as technically the show has been amazing with visuals, action and even the discussions of the nature of the force and what it means to be a jedi.

I'll never understand the hate you often see for the "green milk" scene in TLJ. I mean it explains how he gets sustenance and survives on the island, and I do find it funny. As time goes on the more I see many of the complaints people have about the sequels to be relatively petty and even incoherent at times.

For me, my ranking goes like this Movies: The Last Jedi (9/10) The best non-original trilogy movie, made by one of my favorite directors working today. The Force Awakens (8.5/10) A very fun and well-made welcome-back movie. Rogue One (8/10) A gritty war film that avoids most opportunities for cheap fan service, and that finale is excellent Solo (6.5/10) I like the first half more before all the predictable fan service arrives. The Rise of Skywalker (2/10) Even with all the faults of the prequels, Lucas at least did new things with them and gave the franchise a new identity that still felt like Star Wars. This was a $416 million fan film (it seriously cost that much?) that attempted to course-correct a movie that didn't need a course correction to begin with. Shows: Andor (9.5/10) It's a slow burn, but still excellent and the most mature Star Wars project out there! Ahsoka (8/10 so far) I'm loving what I'm seeing and hoping the last half is equally as good Mando S1 (8/10) The middle drags a bit, but it at least gave us new characters and a new look for Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (7.5/10) Like Mando S1 the middle drags, and Episode 4 is really stupid, but I really enjoyed it all things considered Mando S2 (7/10) A little better-paced than S1, but the inclusion of some pre-existing characters drags it down a bit, especially Luke. Book of Boba Fett & Mando S3 (4/10): Two rambling messes that don't have a clear direction on where the story is going.

Haha ranking in no particular order how do you do that lol? Loved the video and all the points though! I’m gonna actually rank them though and no doubt upset a lot of people some way in some form :) 1) Andor 9.5/10. Made me emotional multiple times, loved the story and themes and just the atmosphere it was so resonant. So engrossing. It feels different and just like it grabs you and doesn’t let go 2) Rebels 8.7/10 love the characters, Hera and Kanan are in my top 10, it’s so powerful. Doesn’t handle the bad guys right though other than Vader imo 3) Clone Wars season 7 8.5/10. Siege of Mandalore is perfect, shoulda been a film to bring it full circle. Rest of the arcs were not great though lol. 4) Ahsoka 8/10 5) Mandalorian 7.5/10 was at its best when it was episodic doing bounty Hunter stuff. Wasn’t amazingly written for the most part though 6) Rogue One 7.5/10 7) Solo 6.5/10 8) Bad Batch 6/10 9) TFA 6/10 great film horrible story and derails the franchise repeating exactly the same thing destroying progression and stakes with the worst macguffin I’ve ever seen. Amazingly made though 10) TLJ 5.5/10 great story horrible film. Exactly opposite of TFA haha 11) Visions 5.5/10 12) Resistance 5/10 13) Rise of Skywalker 4/10 14) Kenobi 3/10. Project I was the most hyped for by far that they fumbled the hardest unfortunately imo. Bad story, horrible writing and dialogue, uninspired cinematography, laughable choreography, very rushed and forced with head scratching character moments and not great acting to say the least

Star Wars under Disney is roughly the same as it was under Lucas, there's just more of it now. We had 6 films and half where great and the other half not so much. Now we have 9 films and 5 shows and about half of it is really amazing and the other half is not so much. I find something to like in every star wars media, with Episode 2 and 9 being my least favourite films and 4 and 6 being my favourites. My biggest concern with the live action shows at the moment is a lack of consistency with good production quality. I'm keen to see what comes next in live action, I'll always be excited about getting more star wars. Everything they're doing in animation has been pretty interesting and the gaming space looks good and is seemingly about to get even better. Lastly from what I've read I'm a fan of what they're doing in the comics and books. Star Wars fans need to step back, calm down and be less objective in their opinions.

It thought it was completely pointless when they announced it and the "Best of Han Solo" plot is certainly the weakest point, but I just love the atmosphere, the look, the acting, the characters and how low stakes it ultimately is. The big final confrontation isn't the space battle to end all space battle, it's just some dudes on a beach. that was honestly just a lot more interesting to me.

I feel like more people like the idea/concept of The Last Jedi rather than its actual execution. I like a good deconstruction story that gives people a unique experience of a well-tread-upon franchise but they clearly didn't have a great plan for this trilogy and TLJ was the massive smoking gun for me that Disney didn't have a good story to tell and just wanted to force feed us star wars merch until our eyes bled. TLJ just makes me sad because that's when I realized this once-beloved work of art was now in the hands of corporate greed. Yes there are good things here and there but its clear its about quantity and not quality.

Was the first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters, first movie I ever went to a Thursday midnight release, first movie I had a full year of hype for. I grew up on Star Wars but that movie really refueled my love for it which hasn’t dropped since. That was just like the happiest time to be a Star Wars fan. I recognize I’m EXTREMELY nostalgic to it but I also don’t think there’s many flaws, the rehash argument is so dumb and overused, phantom menace I’d argue is more of a rehash of a new hope than TFA.

I agree with most of these takes. Except I firmly believe Rogue One was the worst. Because, to me, it had no heart. It felt hollow, because all of the characters were uninteresting, and it felt super jumbled due to the pacing and editing. Especially in the first act. Because the movie jumps from planet to planet, and you're introduced to so many characters so quickly that you just don't have time to sit back and absorb it all. And I think that's all thanks to the reshoots. As for the best, I agree Last Jedi stands out the most. I know people hate it but I don't give a crap. It surprised me, it broke the formula, and raised a lot of thought provoking questions about the saga that I hadn't considered before. However, I wouldn't give it a 9/10. Because like Rogue One, the pacing and supporting characters are a big issue. I'd give it an 8 or 8 1/2 out of 10.

Tales of the Jedi (I love both arcs, but that Dooku/Hammer Horror story was amazing.) 4. The Disney Clone Wars seasons 5. Ahsoka (a.k.a. Rebels season 5) 6. Rebels 7. Rogue One 8. Solo (Very underrated!) 9. Resistance (VASTLY underrated.) 10. The Book of Boba Fett (I like the Tusken stuff better than the gangster stuff.) 11. Jedi Academy (Sure, it's aimed very young, but it's lots of fun.) 12. Obi-Wan Kenobi (This would have been much better as a 2-hour movie.) 13. The Force Awakens (The most overrated film in human history!) 14. The Rise of Skywalker (A film so bad that it makes Attack of the Clones look like Citizen Kane.) 15. The Last Jedi (The film that poisoned the Star Wars Universe by ruining its most noble hero.)

Nice ranking, even if I cannot agree with TLJ being lower than TROS. Well, here’s my ranking: 1. Andor (Season 1): 9/10 - the best SW stuff outside of New Hope and Empire. 2. The Clone Wars (Season 7): 9/10 - my favorite season of the show, even if I owe most of that to the last four episodes. If the first four episodes were separated, this would be a 7/10 at the highest. 3. The Mandalorian (Season 1): 8/10 - A great standalone season. 4. Rogue One (2016): 8/10 - great film, even if the characters could have been better-written. 5. The Mandalorian (Season 2): 8/10 - has some higher highs than Season 1, but much less standalone. 6. The Force Awakens (2015): 7/10 - The fact that it has the same story as New Hope doesn’t bother me quite as much as the fact that the movie’s setup ruins the ending of Return of the Jedi, but other than that I think it’s the most “pure fun” Star Wars movie of all time, and I like the new characters (even Rey! They mess her up later though). I also think it’s incredible well-crafted with some great cinematography and editing, as well as the as-usual incredible music, sound design, effects, and art direction. 7. The Bad Batch (Season 2+3): 7/10 - both big improvements over Season 1. 8. Tales of the Jedi (Season 1): 7/10 - agreed with you on the Dooku story! 9. Tales of the Empire (Miniseries): 6/10 - I like it, even if it’s just okay. I don’t have much to say about it. 10. The Bad Batch (Season 1): 6/10 - It’s okay. Not much to say about this one either. 11. Rebels (All Seasons): 6/10 - I guess? I didn’t like Season 1 but the latter seasons improved and had some amazing highs. But overall the show blends together into one in my mind. 12. Ahsoka (Season 1): 6/10 - I’m being generous with this rating. If it was only the first three episodes, it would be a 5/10 at best, but I did really enjoy the second half of it. 13. Solo (2018): 5/10 - it exists. But I don’t mind that it exists! 14. The Mandalorian (Season 3): 5/10 - not terrible, but very disappointing Season. 15. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Miniseries): 5/10 - I have nothing to say about it. 16. The Last Jedi (2017): 5/10 - Look, it’s probably the best directed Star Wars movie of recent memory. Some very good performances, especially Mark Hammil. Some phenomenal cinematography too. I also love the message that it’s trying to convey, and credit where it’s due, I actually really like the Rey twist of her being a nobody. But I cannot forgive the character assassination of Luke. Nor can I like the entire Finn and Rose subplot. Or the garbage script overall. 17. The Book of Boba Fett (Miniseries): 4/10 - if it wasn’t for episodes 5 and 6, this would be a 3/10 or maybe even a 2 and would be at the bottom of the list cause outside of those two episodes I hated this! 18. The Rise of Skywalker (2019): 3/10 - the only good things in this movie are the things that are good in all Star Wars movies. The music, sound design, effects, and art direction. Palpatine’s resurrection and everything involved in that ruins the film and even the entire trilogy for me! That’s all I got. I haven’t seen anything else from Disney Star Wars, and I’m not rating The Acolyte until I’ve seen the whole show (the two episodes so far are decent I guess).

My ranking would go like this (from best to worst): - Andor: Genuinely blew me away after spending so long being fatigued and disinterested in Star Wars. A slow yet deliberately-paced thriller with shockingly incisive political commentary, absolutely gorgeous visuals and direction, top-notch performances from the entire cast, and some actually brilliant dialogue. Easily the best Star Wars since Empire, if not the best overall. - The Last Jedi: Not without its flaws, but easily the most compelling and interesting Disney Star Wars film. Rian Johnson directs the hell out of this thing, resulting in the most visually stunning entry in the saga, while providing a thematically rich script that is packed with countless memorable moments and develops the characters in interesting ways and getting phenomenal performances from everyone in the cast. - Rogue One: I find it slightly overrated myself, but it’s still a compelling and well-crafted film. A great exploration of the darker less scrupulous side of the Rebellion and the ambiguous moralities of war, balanced out with explosive action setpieces, including the single best finale to any Star Wars film. I just wish the characters had been better developed and more memorable. - The Force Awakens: Derivative as hell and lacking in depth, yet still unbelievably fun and emotionally engaging. The new characters are introduced really well, Han’s last hurrah is fantastically done, the action is fun and frenetic and its familiar story is still wonderfully paced. A really strong start to the new era of Star Wars content. - The Mandalorian: The first two seasons were really strong in my opinion, I enjoyed the episodic structure of the series, and even as we started to slip into nostalgic fanservice territories, its focus on the surrogate father-son relationship was fun and endearing. Unfortunately the third season really tanked the show for me, being a meandering directionless mess with no distinct focus and a lack of meaningful character development. - Obi-Wan Kenobi: Probably in the minority, but I didn’t hate this one. The pacing is a little off, the visuals are flat and bland, and the story feels simultaneously overstuffed and underdeveloped. When it focuses on Obi-Wan and Vader however, the show really shines, and both Ewan and Hayden give excellent performances to boot. - Solo: Definitely the most middling and forgettable Star Wars film, I won’t act like it’s not a fun ride. Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover are both excellent, there’s some great action, and John Powell gives a fantastic score. Shame about the pedestrian story and the lacklustre new characters though. - The Book of Boba Fett: One of the very few Star Wars that I really don’t like. It’s so unforgivably boring, with no stakes, no character development, no engaging thematic material. It really says something that the best episode is the one where it suddenly turns into The Mandalorian. - The Rise of Skywalker: An utterly contemptible film and the nadir of live-action Star Wars. Full to the brim with cowardly retcons, fails to develop any of its characters, and offers a slapdash mess of a story that’s fun to watch at points but is driven by cynical and empty nostalgia. The actors do their best and it looks visually good, but that’s about it. The only Star Wars film I never want to see again. Regarding Ahsoka so far: To be honest, I’m not really impressed. It’s more dynamic and interesting than most of the other Disney Plus shows, but it looks visually unappealing, and the performances (with the exception of Natasha Liu Bordizzo, David Tennant and Ray Stevenson) feel very wooden. That said, I’ve only seen the first two episodes so far, so maybe my opinion will change when I see the rest of the show. We’ll have to wait and see…

As for Ahsoka, I would probably place it between Mando S2 and S3

Love it or hate it, but TLJ is the most visually stunning Star Wars movie ever created. And it's so unfortunate when you then compare it to the extremely goofy looking TROS. I'm surprised what you said about Ahsoka. Sure, it's Rebels 2.0 and it heavily relies on other media, but man. The show looks so good, it sounds so good and it has been the first time in a long while that it gave me that joy of watching Star Wars again. Dave Filoni just knows what he's doing.

I largely agree with much of this ranking. I loved TFA and TLJ. I want to love TRoS, but it just feels so lazily conceived (I love it in the way that you love that family member that you don't actually like, but they're part of the family, you know?). Rogue One and Solo don't do a ton for me, but I do enjoy them. I love Mando seasons 1-2. Season 3 felt a little limp despite some cool additions. Obi-Wan needed to be elevated from what it is. The rematch of the century lived up to the billing, but that's about it. There could have been so much more introspective character stuff for Kenobi, especially in a long-form show. Book of Boba Fett is such a.....weird show. The flashback stuff with the Tuskens is great. Showing Boba as a changed man from his violent past was great (even though it kinda kills the potential and the need for revisiting Boba as a bloodthirsty bounty hunter ever again). The "tacked on" Mandalorian stuff (including Luke and Ahsoka) may have been the most entertaining parts of the series, which is damning. The "Gangs of Tatooine" plotline was just so blan. And Andor...what else needs to be said. I love Star Wars when it is wacky, wild, and is a spectacle unto itself. But with a platform like D+ at our disposal, there's no reason why grown-up fans can't occasionally have a grown-up show. I don't think Star Wars should take this tone very often, but I'll be pleased when they do it right.

TFA and TLJ are going to be star wars movies I'm going to cherish forever. TROS just didn't land for me, that's okay. Solo is just fun and rogue One is cool but i barely remember it.

I've been loving Ahsoka so far, but conversely, I didn't get the hype for Andor, I thought it was mostly just ok, Idk, maybe a rewatch down the line could fix that for me

I'll be honest, all good takes. The Last Jedi had some moments that undermined character development and the depiction of Luke will never be forgotten and still leaves a bad green milk taste. The concept of traversing space and time with the Force was really cool, but hologram Luke was too much. I refuse to watch the Rise of Skywalker again because it completely sullied the trilogy. I was very excited about TFA and TLJ but killing Luke and the fact that every major hero of the original trilogy died in each movie was very unfortunate. I think honestly, as much as I would've objected years ago, that Rian Johnson probably would've made the best version of the three movies if he had written them all. JJ has no cohesion in his storytelling and solely focused on member-berries. I think exploring the Force and an enemy faction that is not just a worse Empire would've been best. I also think the idea of war-profiteering in a movie called "Star Wars" is kinda expected but not to take up 40 min of runtime give or take. Also, Rian Johnson helped Dave Filoni learn how to direct, and I think he got so much hate for reactionary reasons. Rian's movie has the better acting direction rather than the "look at this isn't this cool" stuff JJ did. Most reactions are going to be politically driven or due to how characters are treated. Finn, Luke, Poe, any new character apart from Rey and Kylo were squandered of potential. Snoke in theory should have just been a guy in a chair and Kylo the real villain, or even Rey being the villain after a heel-turn. Also, ship designs were very generic and the New Republic in TFA were just starfleet and I hate that. I honestly believe that Rian Johnson would've had a better written story and Snoke and the characters he had to inherit were so generic that he destroyed them.

Also, "Resistance" and "First Order" make Rebel and Empire look like gold in terms of originality.

Respectable opinions Greedo. Some I agree with, some I disagree with, but that's okay. We each have our own likes/dislikes about Star Wars. The sequel trilogy overall was pretty good. My two main gripes with it is that it leaned on nostalgia a bit too much instead of being it's own trilogy of movies, charting it's own course. I think maybe a sprinkle of nostalgia here and there would've been cool, but not heavily rely on it. My other main gripe was that Captain Phasma had so much potential and died so soon while barely doing anything on screen, which is kind of a shame; she seemed like a badass villain that could've been the main villain for the trilogy. Rogue One was alright. Not my favorite SW movie, but well done. I **really** enjoyed Solo and prefer it over Rogue One. Yes, the movie can be predictable at times, but I love the casting, directing, visuals, nearly everything about it. Also, Mudtroopers, FTW. I definitely enjoy all 3 seasons of Mando; Boba Fett is meh, not great, but not bad, kinda the same with Obi-Wan. Andor was unique where it focused on an otherwise relatively unknown character. I'm also enjoying Ahsoka and can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Agree with most of this, except I really, really dislike The Last Jedi (although I like a lot of its elements). And I think Solo is far better than it's been given credit for, and may get a major reassessment from fans within a few years, especially if there's a really good spinoff show, like a Lando show or something. Oh, and Andor is "objectively" the best Star Wars ever, IMHO, but nostalgia makes runner-up The Empire Strikes Back tops in my book. I'd even say that Andor feels the most like Original Trilogy Star Wars (albeit more "mature"), even though most people seem to strongly disagree with that.

You judged things more harsly than I anticipated. I would be more lenient. Mostly I agree with your assessment of TROS, but I recently rewatched it for the first time after it left the movies, and it wasn't as bad as I remembered. Maybe I grew soft or I warmed up to it. I don't know. I still want Abrams to stay away from star wars forever though.

God our opinions are apparently exactly the same on these, aside from I'd put Rogue One higher just because despite its forgettable characters and "HEY REMEMBER THIS?" it's fun.
