    At the time this movie was in theaters I was running around Vegas each morning line-shopping for a sports betting system. After getting my bets in I had nothing to do in the afternoons before starting collections in the evenings so I would just to go see Infinity War again. Like every other day. I literally saw this movie 15 times in the theater at The Orleans. There probably were not many people in America who saw this movie in the theater more than I did. Admittedly, I was in it for the movie theater popcorn to a certain extent but I could have chosen other movies to see and did not. Just kept seeing Infinity War over and over again. My favorite movie ever at least in Super Hero genre. Better than Endgame too. That's right I said it.

    Thanos has a point, even if i disagree with his solution. Lets say a planet is going to go extinct if you dont displace half the population. Some would say move them to another planet and let them live there, but technically you are just a parasite bothering another planet. His idea is to delete those people as painlessly as possible.

  • @Stogie2112
    @Stogie21126 сағат бұрын

    Thanos was totally in the wrong. He tried to play God for his own self-righteous satisfaction, and not for the benefit of others. When you eliminate half of a society's population, you don't solve the problem. You just get rid of people. The remaining people will just keep overpopulating, and in time, they will be right back at the point of extinction. Thanos refused to see that self-extinction IS fair. It is the natural consequence when a society is irresponsible. Societies adapt to their environments and survive. Irresponsible societies (like Titan) who don't adapt will perish. That is the Ultimate Law of Nature. It's 100% fair. Thanos, by playing God, tried to go against the Law of Nature.

    You can’t imagine the stunned silence mixed with tears when we saw this on opening night in the theaters. Even those of us who knew the Infinity War saga from the comics were shellshocked that they actually made a comic book movie where the villain wins. They did an amazing job keeping spoilers quiet, so many people were inconsolably crying as they walked out of the theater. Then we had to wait sooooo long for Endgame!

    In hind sight, these small "groups" should have went out and killed the zombies. Shawn's group of 6 could all get weapons, and kill the zombies as they go. When its 1 to 1, you have the advantage. Later on, when they get swarmed with zombies, can you imagine if they slowly picked them off? Again, in the earlier stages, there were alot of slow zombies in small groups. At the end, there were too many to fight, but they could have been weakening those numbers. In the first half of the movie, everyone is healthy, has weapons, and if there was 5 or less zombies, they out numbered them. They also walked slow, so even if there were alot, you can kill the zombie before the next one got close enough @31:46 Shawn said he was useless. He is. He didnt even try to protect his mom when they were traveling here. If he did, she would be infront of him the whole time. He didnt check on her. Like a physical check. Then he didnt have a plan to get into the pub. I know he found a way, but how about lettting the rest of the team in on the plan. They have to break the zombies brain, and yet they are hitting everything else. He even wasted bullets. If you cant aim for shit, get closer, point blank shoot the zomibes heads. Its not like they are crawling through the window that fast.

    30:56 gamora is the biological daughter of thanos (thanos knew he was going to die, and gamora had to succeed him on the throne to continue his quest to preserve the universe)... red skull says it when they arrive on vormir (thanos, son of alars... gamora, daughter of thanos).. the curse of red skull is to give the name of the real parents (not adoptive). thanos is at war with celetes. he wants to prevent another race in the universe from suffering the same thing as Titan (complete annihilation by the judgment of a celestial). the titans (eternals) originate from the earth, they have the knowledge and the technology to leave a planet and recolonize a new one if it is no longer able to provide for their needs... they did not die by a shortage, but by the judgment of a celestial who considered the titans as counterproductive and unfit to survive... (MCU version) dr strange a vue 14.00.604 identical parallel reality where half of each race in the universe is sent to the dimension beyond... why point out that only one is different...?

    @@JayOwinFull ... I saw Infinity War three times in the theater. I praised the Russos for having the guts to kill off half of the main characters and leave the audience hanging. One of the best "cliff hanger" films ever made. It guaranteed that the next film would break all box office records. Thanos was the main protagonist, but he was no hero. His quest was dishonorable, but as he was "mad" (off his rocker), he saw himself as a hero - a messiah.

    DEFINITELY better to remove half of all life in the universe… rather than just DOUBLE THE RESOURCES…? 🤔

  • @Stogie2112
    @Stogie2112Күн бұрын

    Neither strategy would work. If a society is irresponsible and overpopulates the planet, they will stay that way until their attitude changes. Halving the population wouldn't work. The survivors would just go back to overpopulating the planet. Doubling the resources wouldn't work. It could even increase the overpopulation rate. Changing the society's attitude and behavior is the only solution.
