This episode was dedicated to Shari Rhodes. She was the actress that played the elderly woman whom the twins robbed the van from. Sadly, Shari passed away before this episode premiered. Vince dedicated this episode in honor of her.

Love your take on this and that you continue to be able to see both of their perspectives! I think another reason she did it was to gain back some small level of control in her life - she is feeling so powerless right now, and burdened with this huge secret that she can’t tell anyone and wants no part of, so this was a small act of rebellion and defiance, and the way she told him left him unable to react too - feeling a small version of what she’s been feeling for so long now.

Other than f'kn Ted, possibly letting Walt know that she has discussed options with her lawyer might have forced Walt's hand? Unlikely since he was willing to go to jail when the cops were there, but who knows. The IFT phrase was truly savage and probably felt like 2 really hard kicks to each of Walt's nutz. I don't think Hank left his gun so he could "prove he was a tough guy." I think he wanted to get in a fistfight, and he knew if he had his gun on him he would be expected to use that to control and then de-escalate the situation instead.

Hank absolutely left his gun in the vehicle. Hank is frightened of returning to Texas and, on some level, feels like a coward. Getting into a bar fight is his way of reaffirming his masculinity.

I think it was more that Hank wanted to hurt someone -- and to be hurt himself, too. It was less about ego and dominance and more about wanting to vent his pain and his anger.

Most of the time Walt is impulsive and lets his emotions make his decisions. He was just mad at Skylar. Can you imagine Gus doing this? Lol

New Mexico has "No Fault” divorce laws. This is where "Breaking Bad" needs a fact check. In the show, Skylar acts like she needs Walt's signature and his agreement to divorce. In reality, Skylar doesn't need that. She can file for divorce and use the court to notify Walt of the legal proceeding. Under New Mexico law, no reason is needed whatsoever to obtain a divorce. "I feel like it" is all the reason she needs.

The series didn't say that she couldn't divorce without Walter signing, but it would be way faster and way less costly in lawyer fees if mutual. Chances are Walter would die of his cancer before they are officially divorced.

She definitely slept with ted to make walt feel helpless like she is feeling. It was like a f*ck you.

Cool your jets. There's no way she'll watch all 15 remaining MCU movies in the 3.5 weeks between now and its release, let alone any of the 13 X-Men films or the various T.V. shows. To expect her to do so would be the height of arrogant foolishness. She'll get there when she gets there.
