The writers just put on a master class on how to wrap up a series in a satisfying and delightful way.

Rory: I'm the reason I grow up without a father. Us: .....you're not wrong.

I especially loved the montage and selection of music used: Champagne Supernova, as covered by Scala (Belgian Women's Chorus) and the Kolacny Brothers. I bought this and other songs from this series . . . The scene where Dan and Charlotte (with waffles and pudding) gets me EVERY TIME. The absence of Trixie and all of Chloe's celestial family from her death bed has been raised by many. One commenter said he read that the producers wanted to show everyone there, but then Chloe would ask them to leave except for Aurora. They decided to cut the scene because it added too much complexity. It also kept the focus on Chloe and Aurora, which was the basis (along with Lucifer) for season 6 . . . Great job, Evie! I've really enjoyed watching your reactions to Lucifer! Now, as a long-time gamer (I just turned 69), I recommend the Amazon Prime series Fallout.

If you like the sass of Lucifer, then I would recommend Lost Girl, about a succubus trying to find out where she came from and picking up a streetwise human sidekick to take the journey with her.

"Bitterweet" is an excellent choice or word. I knew the series was ending, and I prayed they'd nail the finale - and they did . . .

It was a pleasure going with you through the Lucifer journey. You're reactions are very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next series and movies with you.

I feel like in the therapy session, Lucifer is doing everything he can not to whack Le Mec in the head with his notepad.

You know the worst thing about Chloe and Lucifer's goodbye scene? They didn't think they were ever going to see each other ever again. They thought Chloe would be in heaven. I don't think joining him in hell was even talked about until later. 😢

I always laugh at the use of "My Body is a Cage" for the fight scene.

Damn, wtf I forgot how good this finale was 😭 absolutely brilliant! This show is getting more underrated the more time passes! Gonna miss the Lucifer reactions, was the main reason I subscribed! But gonna stick around to anything I’ve watched like horror movies, marvel ect. Still waiting on back to the future 3!

Some bumps along the way but boy do they stick the landing IMO, a very fitting send-off. And a very fun (and sometimes very emotional) ride watching along, thanks :).

Thanks for reacting to this show, it has been great hearing your take on such an amazing story. I wasn’t sure what to expect this season, but I couldn’t have imagined a better ending. They really delivered a beautiful conclusion to everyone’s story. I wish Lucifer could’ve stayed with Chloe and Rory, but I’m glad he decided to help those souls in need. I think it was a nice touch that he used Linda’s office as a backdrop for his therapy sessions. I hope that ultimately he is able to help everyone deal with their guilt. Chloe showing up to be his partner once again was just the best. The change to the red shirt was brilliant. So sad to see this show end, but I’m grateful that I was able to experience it.

The showriters have said that their Canon is that Lucifer came back in secret throughout the rest of Chloe's life to visit without Rory knowing. I wish they'd shown a few clips of that in the montage, though.

Even if they hadn't had that head canon, mine was that Lucifer could at least pop up to be with Chloe for Rory's birth and secretly meet with Chloe to catch up and give birthday gifts to Rory ie. her first guitar or the title to his car. Obviously they'd have to stop for a long time since Rory would be older and more likely to suspect something was up, so maybe 30+ years passed before Chloe saw Lucifer again. Either way, they have eternity to be together.😊
@lightningg252Ай бұрын
I didn't get why he couldn't be there part time at first too but unfortunately it's Back to the Future time rules. Rory was the catalyst for many of the events of season 6, if she never travels to the past, there's no telling if all the good things that happened would have come to pass. Dan might still be in Hell because Lucifer didn't want to chance bringing him up as a ghost, Lucifer might've became God but hated the job because it really wasn't his calling which might've caused a whole other state of chaos.

This finale never fails to make me emotional. A perfect bow that was tied. Only “issue” is COVID was still prevalent, so the scene with Amenadiel specifically looked more barren than it should have. My only gripe (that they really couldn’t help). One particularly great and emotional moment was Dan getting to see Charlotte again. I love how Chloe got to see Lucifer again and get to be together forever. Also, not many people talk about this: the song at the end is kind of memed but is actually perfect for the moment. Finally, I loved how it ended on the therapy door and the light going switching on. Although we lost this tv series, I look forward to continuing watching your Supernatural one!

sooooo rory needs to feel abandoned by lucifer to feel the hate which activated her time travel powers, thats what leads to her pulling dan out of hell which leads to him in frencies body which leads to him getting to heaven which leads to lucifer realising he wants to help souls in hell, if lucifer constantly sees rory growing up she will never gain the ability to go back in time and pull dan out of hell meaning lucifer would have never realised his purpose. thats why she asked him to stay away. its still sad but its needed, nothing worth having ever comes easily.
@randallwilliamson3838Ай бұрын
I really would have liked it better if Lucifer had stepped out of the shadows when Rory returned to the future. He could have said he was at every birthday and every christmas etc. and then tell Chloe he would see her soon.
@bobblehead8923Ай бұрын
I wish Rory said something about seeing Lucifer when she got back.
@cheryljohns7541Ай бұрын
I loved this ending. Yes, Chloe had to raise Rory alone but she had a large group of friends to support her and none of these people would have the lives they have without Lucifer. A bittersweet ending but how else could an immortal and a mortal have a relationship. Chloe’s “heaven” was helping Lucifer in Hell…like when they partnered up earlier in the season to ‘solve’ Jimmy Barnes’ hell loop. Loved your reactions ❤ Have you seen Grimm?? Now that is another great show with superb characters.
