"He's a particular specimen isn't he?" Stephen is a most particular character indeed. It takes a special kind of evil to be in a position like Stephen's, especially when he is smarter than Candy and hides his intelligence behind a facade of buffoonery/subservience. Furthering the subjugation of others while enjoying a position of comfort and power. It's Sam Jackson's most evil role to me, but damn do I love his delivery. "He gonna stay in the big house?!" 🤣🤣🤣

Too bad these kinds of people still exist. Just look at every minority and woman in the republican party. The GOP hates them with a passion, treat them like slaves and even want a lot of them dead or deported... I mean you have to be a special kind of moron to be a gay or non-white or a woman to vote GOP... but these people still exist. By the millions. Stockholm syndrome is real.

The story that he tells the general in "The Hateful Eight" shows that Major Warren is his most evil role (considering what he did in that story), but Stephen is a CLOSE 2nd.

If we step out of the Tarantino-verse, Mr Glass might actually be the most evil character SLJ has portrayed. I do think Stephen is the better. character though

@@jerryfick613 MrG does have a huge body count, but I kinda sympathize with him 😅 He's so broken and once he found someone like him everything made sense. And I really enjoyed what they did with the finale for him. So, while MrG is certainly a monster, I still think Stephen's position of benefitting from the suffering of his people is worse because he's not the only one that did.

When Django is at the bar spelling his name and says the D is silent, and the other man says "I know" - this is because that man was played by Franco Nero, who played the role of Django in the 1966 film of the same name. A hack is someone who only does things for money. The definitions of a hack: : a person who works solely for mercenary reasons : a writer who works on order : a writer who aims solely for commercial success : working for hire especially with mediocre professional standards : a person who works or writes purely for the purpose of earning money Whatever your thoughts on Tarantino and his talents, he could have made far more money by directing tons of crappy big name action and stuff like that. Like Michael Bay. Tarantino never did. You may not like him, for whatever your reasons, but he is most certainly not a "hack"....let alone a "total hack".
