    my answer is no, that boat will not make it. In my video, at the encounter with the Border Patrol Boat, I had to stop. I could not get back on plane afterwards. 4" to 6" of water there and I was loaded down heavy. I lifted motor up and drifted down Pecos River back towards Rio Grande River about 1/4 mile, found 12" to 18" of water, got on plane and proceeded back up the Pecos to Camp. I can run thru the 4" water ok, just need to be on plane and not stop. lol. This video was 3 yrs ago and water levels at the Pecos Bridge are even lower now.

    PART I was east side of hwy 7 and it was nice. Nothing super technical. PART II, when I post, is video on the west side of hwy 7 and it had nice scenery, creeks, and a was bit more technical. I watch your video's and guessin your in CO. ? We're considering a week vacation to Creede, find dispersed camping and ride Bachelor loop, then move and ride a day to Kite Lake. You have experience/advice for this area?

    @@ManzanoManATVAdventures ha-ha. i'm a nerd about planning. For NM, I probably spent 3 months watching video's of areas, studying maps, setting PINS & Routes in Gaia GPS and taking notes. I also marked second chance/emergency camp spots, nearby supply stores distances, veterinarian hospital locations, prescribed fire burn areas & closed roads. OK MAN, can't wait for your next video. Yea man, a good campfire story. I already carry some SxS spares (belt, axles, battery, lug nuts, fuses, tie rods, spark plugs, hoses, clamps, fluids, brake pads, etc) and emergency supplies but after this little excursion I double-downed and made a personalized survival/overnite kit for solo traveling. One Rubbermaid 24 GAL storage bin and “only” what I can fit inside goes. Turns out that I can pack enough stuff in the tote to probably be semi-comfortable and entertain a SxS overlanding/camping night. New adventure !! I enjoy your video’s as well, keep em coming.

    Did you just level the rot board first and run your pickets on top of that to make the top stragiht? It came out perfect and straight nice job!

  • @ChesapeakeBayProductions
    @ChesapeakeBayProductions5 ай бұрын

    We chose lowest elevation corner and ran chalk string from there to opposite end using a level. We marked line on the post. It dos'nt show up in video but there are lines on all the post for us to reference to have a level rot board entire run. After that, just set pickets on rot board and nail. Check picket vertical levelness every 4 feet and at post. We butted the pickets together at install and after a few months, shrinkage was about 1/8" gap.
