The Ride - EP 65
Dispersed camping in the Lincoln National Forest [Guadalupe District] near Queen, NM.
After hunkering down in truck camper friday for snow storm; Katie, Moose and I used Saturday to clear vehicles of snow and ride Cougar Rd towards Dark Lookout Tower. It was an amazing ride on the powder snow and ice. Scenery was screensaver material.
Sunday morning, we woke up to calm winds and clear skies. We rode SxS to Wilderness Ridge and explored around there & on the way back to camp site.

Out of all the times we've camped and explored in the Guadalupe RD, never seen snow! Now I want to head there next time it snows. Thanks for sharing.

I believe this was a chance happening with the snow. Either way I was lucky. Arrived before storm hit, rode the storm out, enjoyed the snow & scenery after.
