Ouray Colorado, Dispersed Camping, Imogene Pass, Yankee Boy Basin
I this video Chad & gang and myself & pup’s move camp from Rico-Silverton Trailhead, CO to outside Ouray, CO on county road 361.
We anticipated a full day for this relocation and even got an evening ride squeezed into the deal as well.
Ouray was very busy due to the season and we had bit of trouble finding parking to get ice. Mission completed, we ventured down county road 361 for a dispersed camping spot. Half-way down road and not knowing the road head clearance and condition ahead, Chad unloaded his UTV and embarked on a scouting mission for the team. He came back with nothing. So we chose an available narrow spot where we were at and made it work/home.
The next day Yankee Boy Basin & Imogene Pass. IMO Imogene Pass from beginning to summit is a fantastic ride. A must do if your into
overlanding/4x4/Side by Side, trail riding kinda thang’s.
