New Mexico, Dispersed Camping, Queen, NM, Lincoln National Forest
Katie, Moose and I traveled to Queen, NM for some dispersed camping and UTV riding. We arrive at a camp spot on Thursday Thanksgiving day 2022 and had just enough time to get situated. Unbeknownst to me and weather forecasters, a snowstorm was brewing and arrived that evening. We attempted a ride but white out conditions made it tough. Poor little Katie also jumped out of UTV this evening and I ran over her to add to everything. She was fine but hobbled around rest of weekend.
We hunkered down Thursday evening and most all of Friday but it was a blessing in disguise. Saturday morning all was clear and lot's of snow. The pup's and I took full advantage of it (never experiencing more than south TX snow of 1" maybe) and enjoyed the next two days to the fullest.
