Hi, you 2 are brilliant!. Watching you closely and this van. We are looking at retiring as travellers full time. Very interested in how well the van stands up in time. So happy we found you both, safe and fun travels. Thankyou for your much needed advise so far x

@@VonniDe thanks so much for the positive feedback, this is why I started to do youtube to help others travelling and show all stops on our travels. This is our first van and we watched others before we left to get as much knowledge as we could. Have fun following us as we will document all caravan parks and free camps as we go and do more van videos along the way. We will try to keep it as real as we can and I will always throw a couple of funny bits in where I can. Thanks for following us and feel free to ask questions. Cheers Greg and Liza

@@Huntingoz-uw6qp getting my question list organized. 😉. Just 1 quick question. Are you under any time restraints or your free to relax and go at your own pace?. Between hubby and myself max kms per day would be 300-400 kms comfortably . Could this be realistic. Your fur babies are beautiful by the way. Stay safe Vonni & Anthony x

@@VonniDe Hi Vonni We don't need to be back in Perth untill Christmas , so we have plenty of time. I find 350km a day a good average , I started out doing over 400km a day and it just wears you out. Some days it's only 150km depending where I want to go and the weather. Have been staying put in places lately for 4-5 days so I can't just stop and enjoy it all. The fury kids are loving and getting better at travelling as we go. If you have questions definitely send through and I can make an episode Q&A . I was planning on doing one. We are loving the feedback Greg & Liza

Hey guys - great vid - we have looked at both the SRT 19 and 18 duel vs single axle. Our problem is we have a ball weight max of 280 and a rear axle weight of 1450kg. Have you guys been weighed with the Patrol when fully loaded???? Would love to know what your ball weight is. Hope you can help us as we are in a bit of a mix between the two. Our tow vehicle is a VW Touareg 190kw and 600nm V6 Turbo AWD. Cheers.

@@rogerpreston3463 Hi guys The SRT 19 might be a bit heavy , possibly look into the new SRT 18 single axle, unless you get a vehicle suspension upgrade or travel light. The Patrol is a big car and with 290kw tows easily. I have just put heavier springs in the back and airbags ( very cheap to do , around $1800 fitted) and the van sits really well.Patrol rear axle weight is just over 2050kg .I don't have the patrol or van fully loaded , we travel very light. I only have around 180kg in the patrol loaded and about 100kg in the van front tunnel boot. Checking the ball weight myself was around 295 -300 kg and I reckon the van is around 3.2t loaded .We intend to get professional weighed. Tow wise the SRT19 tows straight as and never wanders the suspension is brilliant and I find the sweet spot is around 90kph. I haven't looked at the new SRT18 single axle yet but I would lean more at looking into that one. I think the 19 is more suited to your large SUV,s . I know someone that bought a SRT19 and have a D-max ute and are struggling with weights and suspension issues. Hope this helps Cheers Greg
