Georgia Dow, MA, has over 20 years of experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychotherapy. With degrees in Psychology and Education, a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Art Therapy as well as two-time Canadian Jujitsu Champion, she specializes in treating anxiety and stress management for both children and adults.
Georgia is also a licensed teacher who found that she cared more about how her students felt about themselves and the world they live in than the curriculum so she went on to get another degree in therapy in order to pursue that dream.

"Pain is weakness leaving the body" was a repeated line in my childhood while I was under the control of two adults that claimed parenthood over me. The constant control and manipulation, gaslighting, and de-valuing and dismissing of problems and emotions was passed off under this guise of "toughening up." I really respect your content Georgia, that you take the time and serious focus to correlate these silly and playful characters to realistic matters and human interactions.
I hope you have internalized that your pain matters and that it is not a weakness. And thank you for being a part of my community

Just a note on the spring break episode, remember that Moxxie is utterly wasted in that whole sequence. Some people mistake him for a opossum and try to drown him in a keg of beer. He then spends the rest of the episode drunk and out of it.
I hope to have a GF a little like Millie one day, I just want a Gentle, Comforting, Caring partner, that is ok with a Private Relationship, no Kids, and not have those Romantic Gestures alot of people find Romantic {I find quite a few Romantic gestures creepy} so no Singint, no Dancing, no playing Instruments, no Love songs {I hate: Rock, Emo, Punk, Metal, and Love songs, those genres are Creepy to me, they Trigger me, I also hate MCR and Green Day, those bands Trigger me, and I hate the song _"Mr. Brightside"_ that also Triggers me} I want the bill to be split on every date {Including the first date} on a Wedding: No Vows, no Priest, no Religion, I will not Invite my Parents {My future GF could Invite her parents If she wanted to} we'd only have a Handful of both our Friends} there would be no after wedding event, no _"Congratulations to the happy couple"_ no _"You may now kiss the bride"_ no: Kissing, Handholding, Hugging, in Public {Everything must be Strictly Private} and staying with Eachother should be the top priority, my live Languages are: - Physical Touch - Words of Affirmation Suprises make me uncomfortable {I need permission first} I hate being starred at, scopophobia: the fear of being Starred at or Watched I'd be afraid of being Cheated on, so I'd need to be told If my future Partner is going out, and I'd need something to do, because I can't be alone... Truama, I just can't... I'd have a talk with my Future partner before starting the Relationship, explaining to never Accept Flirts or Complements from anyone but me, and Visa versa {I would never accept Flirts or Complements from anyone but my Future partner, one more thing, I find the term _"My girl"_ Objectifying, Me and my Future partner would call Eachother _"My girlfriend"_ or just _"My GF"_ never _"My girl"_ Relationships should be equal I just have a different view of Romance to alot of people, the Traditional stuff is creepy to me... Anyway sorry for my rant

The Choice Jinx gives Vi, was for sure a test,whether Vi could love Powder how she is, as Jinx. No matter what Jinx was not going to sit in the Powder chair. Three interesting things to note, One Vi just does not get it, she keeps calling her sister Powder and unknowingly says every trigger word that sends Jinx's PTSD into overdrive. Jinx even says stop at one point,but Vi just kept on overloading Jinx's head. Two after Jinx insticturely protected Vi from Silco and has a devastating revelation, that she is Jinx and kills everyone close to her so she sits in the Jinx chair. She decides the only way for her to move on is to abandon her Sister. Jinx will never be Powder again, The Memories of her as Powder are heartbreaking and too much for her to bare anymore. Jinx decides she must let her sister go,she gets up says "Here's to the new Us" fire the Rocket and Vanishes also leaving Caitlyn Alive. Most likely as a last good gesture to Vi. Three, Jinx leaves behind all of the items that represented her pain, she even left her POW POW Gatling Gun behind,I think it is because she killed Silco with it. So from this point on Jinx killed Powder,plus leaving her sister tied up.In Season 2 Jinx may not view Vi as family anymore,the one person who gave her unconditional love she killed , While There are lines that Vi just can not cross because of Vander;s teachings. So Jinx chose Silco.

Hey, I don't know if you have reacted to yellowjackets before, but it's an incredible show with incredible characters about a high-school girl soccer team whose plane falls in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. It touches a lot on how far we would go to survive and how much that affects us and our humanity. It also has a time-line with the adult survivors and its so interesting to see how everything that has happend shaped them into what they became.Anyways, I just think it would make a great video for you, love your content!

@9:43 Lucy did prove herself different from The Ghoul in that she didn't allow his treatment to change her altruistic personality. Her actions in helping the Ghoul after Lucy escaped being sold for her organs proves it. Seems like The Ghoul regained some of his humanity in how he allied himself with Lucy at the very end of Season 1.
I actually wonder… was he also checking on Roger to see where he was at on vials, how he was doing, and possibly get vials for him if he was out but still able to be saved?
I can’t believe I never noticed this when I saw it in theatres but looking back now, that is actually really depressing, poor Starro. I think in the comics he was more just evil but in this movie he was misunderstood.
the main difference between Psychopaths and Sociopaths is that Psychopaths are born messed up were as sociopaths are made via a messed up childhood and where as the 2 have overlapping similarities like a lack of empathy they do have differences like psychopaths are more caculating where as sociopaths are more compulsive.

When I dealt with a narcissist (like his wife and Bud)and had that experience, I kept fantasizing revenge. I felt like if I HATED her, I’d lose myself and hand the win to my enemy. It took a couple years to realize that I could go ahead and hate her. It’s just a feeling. Feelings come and go. As soon as I did that, that revenge fantasy vanished. Cooper has NOT let go of that. Yet. He wants his daughter but he hasn’t YET realized he has a daughter right in front of him. To be fair, the kind of betrayal he experienced is so beyond anything I did, it’s 10,0000 harder for him.

6:12 approx. a note, self justification allows the 'bad' as good because it's all for the good in the end. in his particular case the ends justifies his continued life with sanity, which is important or good to him. pretty powerful motivator knowing what end awaits you and that can justify a lot of actions. and yeah, tht was cleverly done, throwing up ethics he once espoused back at him right when he's in another crisis of losing his sanity and life.
Wait to do Blitzø until after the new episode comes out, there's gonna be soooo much to unpack from that one alone!

Millie is my favorite character! I remember how shocked I was when I realize that Moxie and Millie, a couple of IMP DEMONS was the most wholesome couple I was seeing in all the media I was consuming. They teach me that you don't need drama inside the couple to make them interesting. They can deal with outside drama together. Im a sea of books and media where the story revolve around couple fights and drama, thats a relief and couple goals!!!!
