Chuckin'

Chuckin'

Chuck-in -verb- \\ˈchə-kiŋ, -kin\\ DIALECT the act of woodchuck hunting.

Chuckin' TV is dedicated to woodchuck hunting, hand loading, and just plain shooting stuff. We will be posting hunts and product reviews as well as reloading tips. Feel free to share some of your tips and reloading recipes as well. The goal of this channel is to bring shooters together and start discussions. If you have a product that you would like us to test and review, please send a private message via KZread. We'd love to hear from you.

Chuckin' TV is made up of my cousins Garrett and Anthony (Twan) and myself Eric. We have been chuck hunting for years and last summer we started videoing our hunts. Woodchuck hunting is our means to tuning our equipment and marksmanship to make us better and more ethical hunters. We will bring you videos that give you unbiased reviews on the products we use and share some our ammo making experience as well. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

My .270 Compass shoots cloverleafs with 130 grain Remington and Federal hunting ammo. Barrel heat doesn't seem to affect the groups.

I don't have a Seekins, I wouldn't mind having one; I was shopping for one the other day and, I ended up with a Fierce Rival FP in 300PRC. Looking forward to doing some hunting with it this fall.

I have the same rifle and caliber, I shot Norma whitetail 140 grain and it shot 1/2 moa. I think federal loads were a little hot, that’s why you had the sticky bolt. My reloads shoot better than the Norma.

The fit and finish of Model 10s are sloppy by modern standards, but their free floating bolt head and tight lock up.lore.pretty consistent accuracy out of the box. I'd gamble on a factory Model 10 over a 700

This is May, 2024 and I bought my Glock 44 this month and took it to the range. I had at least 1 or 2 lite strikes out of all 4 magazines. I cleaned it before I shot it so I don’t know what is going on with mine. When I put the light strike round back in the magazine, they would all fire. I only fired about 100 rounds but it was CCI Mini Mags and Agueila (not sure of the spelling but you know what I’m talking about and they all had lite strikes. It just might need to be shot another few hundred rounds before I send it back to Ruger. Glad you got a good one.

22-250 Has Always Been Extremely Accurate. The Savage Carbon 22 Inch Bull Barrel With Spiraled Action Is Sweet. Pay For Quality. Cascade XT Also Another Great Rifle With Fluted Barrel & Action. Great Coverage. Keep It Coming. Cheaper Rifles Tend To Have Rougher Actions.

... these CVAs and their Bergara barrels are a bit more expensive than your garden variety Rossi, H&R, NEF single shots so I'd expect pretty decent accuracy from them ... 2.5 - 3" @ 100 yds "Minute of Deer" hunting accuracy is usually all I expect from the cheap single shots but would be disappointed with groups over 1.5" from the CVAs
