I wish it was deer season all year. I really have been enjoying your deer hunt videos over the years.

Two good shots and two very different rifles, really good video footage in an environment that doesn't really lend itself to video, just goes to show that you guys are multi-talented. Always a pleasure to watch, what you so meticulously lay out for us. I'm 66 yrs old, have multiple guns and have never hunted four legged animals. Spent my formative years in active duty, would love to hunt one day, before the harvester takes me, that's why it so good to see how it's done. Thanks again.

Hi from France, great shots guys ! Only one each time . About the Marlin-Remington, yours looks well made so it's not a bad one . I spoke with some gun shops in france, when they were receiving 10 Marlins made by Remington, they were refusing 8 and back to the sender . It's incredible to see that such a company like Remington made .

Just some info it wasn't truly the old Remington company we all know Remington was bought by a company that took over and tried to keep the name going then they bought marlin company and all the tooling was mix matched and messed up I know first had I bought the same 44mag in garrets video and it was messed up I shot it once then found out they bored the chamber to 45 caliber half way through thank God it didn't blow up in my face ! Anyhow both companies have been resold the new marlins are made by Ruger and probably the best they will ever be I've seen reviews that Remington quality is looking very nice also

Good shooting and lots of venison for the freezer. Did you take the fawn (2nd deer) because the mature doe wasn't presenting a shot?

Watch again, we shoot the younger doe after we took the large doe, we wanted to make the most of it and get a kill on film with the 44 mag as well.

I just picked up a 44 lever action, how far was that shot with the 44? Surprised it went that far

About 40 yards I’m guessing. I feel pretty confident out to 100 yards with it. I double lunged her, with out hitting any major bone so the do tend to run a bit.
