With this system, is it hard to keep the horizon or is that an artistic choice/?
You can do it, I was learning at the time so I just needed to adjust my setup! I’m going to do a followup video on this!
@@11.Pierrelooking forward to the follow up.
thanks, def a worthy piece of gear!
Immersed banned people from their subreddit for complaining about lack of multiple monitor support that they abruptly ended in v13. Screw that company.
wow that's insane!
How easy is this thing to clean? I wanna buy one
It’s pretty easy, it comes with the tool to clean the metal part easier as well
What file does the screen recording save as? And can you view it on all your Apple devices? How does a 2d screen recording capture the quality of Apple Vision Pro? And is the file size big of the videos or small? Thank you
Et me check this, I wanna say .mov
Subbed, please don't get mad but I just posted an Anti fuji x100vi video. Just trying to help my fellow poor photogs that are burning with jealousy from all these sexy machines getting shown off online.
Hahaha it happens to us all
The best camera in the price category under $1800
it's pretty solid, the Panasonic s9 is pretty dope too though. I may do some comparisons down the line!
Hey, great vid! I bought a Laing Master 2 and it's been treating me great. I noticed that your gimbal handle is very low from the top stage, I recommend you buy a weight plate! Apex Cinema Gear sells an eleven-pound plate for about $300 and has honestly been one of the best purchases I've invested in for practicing at home and flying real light weight camera builds. Also try to reduce the bottom weight to keep your post a bit shorter for easier operation!
Thank you and I’ve since updated it, added more weight to my rig but this was my first instance so it’s been a learning curve.! Def appreciate the pro tips, I am thinking of doing a follow up video on this for new users like myself!
Dope video bro, thanks for the info! Question.. For an everyday, leisure camera to take pics of family etc would you recommend the X100VI or the A7CII?
I actually did a home photoshoot with it and found it to be useful but it depends. Would this be your only camera? If so I think having swappable lenses will be valuable to you! I like the Fuji but I also have the s5ii , fixed lens is fun but def not as versatile for need the versatility!
@@11.Pierre Ok got you, thanks for the info bro! Much appreciated..
The video is great, I would like to ask if you can use it with the 0.71x speed booster to get the effect of full frame and increasing the aperture by one stop? Because I happen to have a set of meike full-frame lenses, I don’t know if I should use them with 0.71x for Komodo. Thank you.
This was with the speed booster ! It works fine. Slight vignette in the corner but you can crop
I’ve been considering this and the Godox Lux Cadet flash for my Nikon Z fc.
It’s worth it
how do yo power the red Komodo if the vmount battery is already powering the grip and the lidar?
I have the BP to v mount adapter for the Komodo, so it powers the Komodo from there. then I use 2 ports to power the lidar/grip. I removed the grip in the video and replaced it with a DJI power base that plugs into the v mount.
This is a steal

LOL Good Game and Video Thanks for Sharing
Thank yiu!
Same. I bought the other attachment for the Polaroid also
def adds more life to your camera!

Thanks for the support
I just ordered the 500W version and it should be here tomorrow.. can’t wait to use it this weekend
that's a lot of power, I'm sure it will be useful !
quick update, just discovered that Amazon has the SD version of the 600w going for $439. def worth a look if you have a return window on the 500w and could use more power but don't care as much about the updated design.
ayo you're calling The GVM SD300C which goes for 499$ price friendly? Y'all are definitely getting to the bag that side of the world.
lol trust me bro, I feel you. My first set of lights was $120 for 2 panels (Neewer) but yeah if you compare these to Aputure they are affordable! (Or the higher lights in general) But trust I been there before lol. On the low end you can get a 60w light for maybe $120 but the 150w version was about $315 when I originally got it. I grew to this 🤣, it took a long ass time. Thanks for the comment though!
Thanks! Great video!
no problem!!
Do you still need to use the handle or no?
nope! you can use it with or without! the v mount powers it so you're good.
im looking at the most expensive camera setup
lmao for me probably so for others, they would say this is cheap lmao
Insightful!
thanks def a great pickup!
Great video thanks. Could you try to connect the lidar and the motor on usb to see if the grip can work wireless please?
Can you explain this a little more? You wanna see if it works without them being plugged into the grip itself? So you could theoretically have it wireless like the other focus wheel they sell?
@@11.Pierre exactly. I see another creator use it whith the pro grip and for that he just plug the lidar and motor on usb. And when he power on the big grip it just connect wirelessly. My theory is they need power but not connection. Sorry for my English, I'm French.
@NineSevenPictures got it, I will check this and message you back to confirm
@@11.Pierre thanks for your help 🙏🏾
Why would you want to mount the lidar camera so high? I thought it is better if it is closer to the lens / sensor?
Still tweaking it, tbh I’ve seen people mount close to body and close to lens. But I actually have a longer magic arm (+ extra hot shoe , this way I can try both methods properly) coming later today. My handle was taking up space lol, I’ll talk more about this in my full video. DJI says get it close to camera sensor, other youtubers had it close to lens. So we’ll see but so far it seems to work either way (it allows you to input the distance on the system which you manually measure) but I’ll circle back. Trust, that was 1 of the tricky things about setting it up that confused me as well. I’ve never used lidar at all until this week. From what i noticed, it seems you want to get it as close to the field of view as the lens because the lidar works damn good. Whatever box is highlighted on the lidar screen is what will be in focus so I can see why others had it near lens but I’ll be testing it more to confirm.
What I’d like to know does it take better pictures than the regular version?
Haha, it’s the same. I only got this one because I just found it locally at a decent price, otherwise the regular is what I would’ve gotten it. Def no need to get this if you can get the normal one in your city!

Thanks for sharing. Important information to know.
Yeah I couldn’t seem to find the answer in the sponsored videos I was watching but it works fine. Just another way to use it for those of us who don’t need the handleb
how i can put those commands of your right hand? i want to record videos too doing that
I believe it auto switches based on which hand you use !
How was it juice the aloe Vera
Honestly didn’t taste it lol,
The literal device microsoft wanted to battle between ipod, it succeed in the next zune but uhh.... yep, apple already released the iphone and so android for that, yep... it was a flop
Crazy crazy times but it was a great device !
It was a movie it was entertaining remind me of you was thinking it but you said it like a lot of questions that we had a lot of curiosity about the Bible a lot of things that we were that we question the question a lot of things we thought we think but we're too scared to ask or talk about he did but the best was the conversation with Jesus mama Teyana Taylor play Mary Magdalene
I enjoyed it for sure, it def was a nice switch / perspective ! Could’ve been better but def still dope to watch
Garbage camera. Get an A7C
lol no need, I have an s5ii which is better. Now to your point, if I'm someone who only can afford one - easy go A7C or S5II. Something like this is more for collectors, or people who have extra money to spend. Photography has never been something I was heavy into, it's leisure for me. So my buying needs (or wants) will be entirely different but I have a buddy with the a7c - he loves it. It reminds me of my old a6300 which at the time was the best value on the market! My point is, a camera with swappable lenses is what you should always get first vs. a fixed lens camera unless of course - you're purely just doing street photography.
Surprised the 16H covers taking lenses as wide as the 37mm. Is that an advantage it has over the other anamorphic projection lenses which seem to only work with ~50mm and longer?
I wouldn’t say it fully covers but you can tweak the settings and get use out of it. 50mm is more ideal but at the time I was really interested in a wider lens. I love this look but this is a process. My 35mm great joy is far more easier to use/ideal. But for 2x this works great !
Immersed use to be great, but with v13 they just ended support for multiple plugged in displays. Even worse, it is not just that they no longer support multiple physical monitors, Immersed actually throws an error "multiple displays detected". So you have to unplug everything except your primary monitor in order for the Immersed agent to work. They pretty much dismissed all their multi monitor users as an insignificant vocal minority that they didn't want to support. I'd love to copy and paste some of what they said in Discord, but they started banning anyone complaining about the change.
Wow, shocked to hear this
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you!
Great insight!
thank you!
cute! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😂😂😂😂
Finally got time to watch this. As another operator of this rig in Texas, we should collaborate on projects! I'm actually looking for more work and currently setting up my rig to be the ultimate DIY arri trinity. I'm also the guy from the CineD video, we briefly talked on Facebook.
Thanks for tapping in and sure thing, your video was 1 of the ones I originally found. What part of Texas are you in? and yes, I still haven't added my Crane 3s onto but have just been practicing more and more with it to help on my film project. I'm loving it and the more I learn about the steadicam, the better value this actually becomes to me. We got a lot of good feedback at NAB when people were demo'ing it but yeah man I'll tap in with yoU!
I see now, ATX. I actually have a brother out there who does photography/videography as well.
Pierre I gotta connect with you bro what your Instagram?
11.Pierre on Ig
I love that good god
thank you!
Nice job
thank you!
Is it possible to attach a gimbal like the crane3s?
SmallRig makes a baseplate for the crane 3s, so yes its possible. I've mounted my RS3 Pro on it before.
yup works fine!
It's possible to attach the new RS4 ?
@@carminedepaola8018 yes, use the pendulum to properly balance the rig
How is the autofocus motor noise? Will it get picked up by in body mic?
works fine with the L mount lenses (no sound) and on my sigma 18-35 you can barely here it. on my older lenses (20 years old, its louder) but it works great!
first tehe
Haha 🎉
This is super cool!!
I’m so glad you were able to finally see NAB for yourself! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you London!
Thank you for these shares!!! It was great meeting and talking with you. I look forward to seeing more of your content!!
thank you and likewise !!
Do you have any footage using a brushless gumbal in top of the Procine?
I have not tried it yet!
