I had the chance to go to NAB for the 1st time this year and wanted to tell you all what it's really like from a true independent low-budget filmmaker's perspective. (not for a long time but until we're in the big leagues lol)
As you know, the projects I work on now are generally all self funded so I think my perspective is important since majority of creators are just like me.
Overall it was a great experience and definitely further confirmation. Growing up in Oak Cliff, a lot of people where I'm from haven't got a chance to go to places like this.
If you love technology and cameras, this is something you should go to at least once, you will have a wonderful time. Also I shot all of my B-Roll on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 - it was literally perfect for an event like this. Let me know if you have any questions!
