Hi Felicia! I like your shutter angle tutorial. What is new you can show us.
Everyone is Cinematographer until a light meter is involved :D
What are your thoughts on Sachtler vs. Miller tripods? The latter brand has the CX series with 15 steps of counterbalance (incl. half steps), illuminated bubble level with a button (not where you don't have to break a finger off trying to tap the light!), and Sprinter II carbon fiber legs with similar flip locks at the top like the overhyped Flowtech legs.
My workplace has a Sachtler FSB 8T (quick-release version) tripod (head - the FSB 8 is not the whole tripod), and for the life of me, one BIG con is that the pan bar keeps slipping on tilts, NO MATTER HOW TIGHT I tighten it onto the head, because of those blasted fine teeth on the rosette. Why am I not reading more about this problem from Sachtler users? Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do you have some tips on how to avoid this situation?
I've heard Sachtler's quality went down when they were bought out by Videndum (formerly Vitec), which also owns the cheaper Manfrotto brand, so take that for what it's worth for build quality.
ouhhh as a non english spoken natively, you speak very very too much quickly for me 😢😱😆

Lovely Advice to bring for starters, thank you for making your video. I also like how its straight to the point and rational reasoning for why we ought to practice these more often!
love this channel ! more content please ! thank you
I see this is an old video and that you're not posting as much anymore. This is still helping people though. Well me at least. Thank you.
Just discovered your channel yesterday. I guess the channel is not active anymore but been learning a lot from all the videos. Thanks!
Over over adds a half twist per loop. Over under adds a half twist one way and a half twist the other way. Over under on an electrical cable that’s plugged in also removes any inductive current that otherwise would become a tiny electromagnet.
Really good video, very informative. Thank you
I done data wrangling 12 years ago on a feature film set in Sydney. i was the 2nd camera assistant & the directors personal assistant. after a week it was just to much work for me running around on set doing many other things while also doing the data wrangling at the same time. i eventually had a breakdown from all the stress. also to mention the 1st camera assistant was heavily pushing me around. he really didnt understand i had to much on my plate. i ended up just doing the data wrangling for the remaining few weeks. data wrangling was a job on its own. there was so much responsibility on one person hands to copy the files, triple check the files are copied then back up up the footage in multiple locations then return the card for it to safely be reshot on. the work wasn't just onset to copy the cards it was also backing up the cards at home way after the shoot ended late at night triple check the files and repeat early next morning onset till late night. successful completed everything safely eventually without errors. it was such a great experience.
My name is Jonathan Trauner. I will be 30 this May 15th 2024 in Jerusalem. I work at Mobileye in Jerusalem. I have Autism. I am a poet artist and performing artist and I love Gal Gadot and Taylor Swift. On June 18th 2023, I got hit by a huge tour bus and I only broke my left collarbone and did not die. I finished recovering end of August 2023 and my bone returned back to normal and to a completely unbroken unified state beginning of December 2023. My greatest dream come true is to become the first openly autistic poet performing artist and artist with Autism to win my Emmy Grammy Oscar and Tony film and acting awards in Los Angeles California in 2025, or in 2028 at the 100th Academy Awards. #NEVERGIVEUP. It's to bad Peak Design does not have options for the Everyday Messenger bag that would fit a 16" laptop. Also, I would have loved if you cover security for the bag when traveling.
Thanks for sharing
I shoot wildlife with the 6400. Which is the same internally to the 6600 aside from missing ibis. Great camera. And it’s pretty old. The autofocus is really good. Image quality is astonishing
Speedlock 75's are my favorite, 50% lighter than the flowtech.

This was great! Thanks for doing this. Not boring at all!
I tried a Fuji XT30ii, as abreak from Sony APSC and Nikon FF. As much as it was a good looking camera and produced nice colors, the exposure and focusing were inconsistent. It would pick up very high ISO in auto ISO compared to Sony. I did side by side comparisons of the Fuji XT30ii with Sony A6100 and A6600 and the SOny had at least 1 stop less noise, it was sharper, and the focus always spot on. The lock on AF is way more advanced. I wanted to love the Fuji, but the usability and reliability were underwhelming. The Nikon Z system, even the Z50 have a more straightforward menu, usability and nice colors. The downside of Nikon is fewer 3rd party lenses, no Tamron. A6600 and A6700 are way more advanced than the XT30ii in many ways. The A6100 is also much more reliable. The Fuji menu is so deep and nested, somehow worse than Sony. With the Sony now I lower the magenta and purple in Lightroom. I adjust the Auto WB a little. The Fuji def has better auto WB than the Sony. But all these aspects can be fine tuned.
Is the nano in this video? Or just small, medium and large?

Oo.. it was really helpful. Thankyou for putting up such videos. Well I'm a filmmaker too, and I'm curious to know what software you were using to make the moodboard. I really liked the interface of it. I too wanna try on that one. Can you help me?
Sweet video must say I don't think there's a way to use false colors to do that
I love how the “my camera is sick” got me to audibly go awww and feel real concern haha
