I made a boomerang when I was a kid. It didn't last very long. The one time it came back to me I ducked instead of catching it and it broke in half. Was a lot of work to make and get flying right just for it to break.

Awesome to see! A not so well known fact is that in Tutanchamun's tomb there were also hundreds of boomerangs found, likely to hunt small wildlife around the Nile river.

Nah, if you grow up in it you don't even think about the dangers. Snakes are the only real problem but I personally don't know anyone who has been bitten. I've stood on a couple though - was a bit scary.
