The main problem with using a boomerang from the States down under is that things spin opposite from here to there, like water down the drain! 😁

So close! Especially factoring in everything else going on

I grew up with Native Americans in south west USA and we just used rocks to hunt jack rabbits. They taught me a trick that you can whistle really loud and it confuses them, they'll stop momentarily put their ears up and you can use that moment to nail them. Never used a boomerang, I'll have to try it.

It was a better view from my angle too and it was dead on... still getting closer.

Visited Australia, came back home with a Boomerang, tried throwing.....never saw it again.

Abit late to the video but i am Curious, what is the biggest animal you can hunt with a boomerang? Is it just relegated to small game or can you go to Medium sized game?

You could kill a buffalo with one if you could throw a big enough model. But, the biggest game I know of is big kangaroos with the big aussie aboriginal boomerangs. That being said, the one I am using here would kill a medium size dog (like the one in the video) and easily a fox if you hit them in the right place. ie; ribs, head, or neck.

Lately not at all. But when I had access to dense supply of rabbits in small bushes I was bagging one rabbit every six throws.

Yeah, a long time ago. There were more around and I could get closer to them and also got more throws for more practice.
