Wow definitely looks like a target rich environment. I'm excited to see what you think of the USA versions of boomerangs. Guessing one must be a Cold Steel eh? Keep up the work, not easy hunting with those but you will get one. Cheers

G'day Nathan, I found this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kZZ6s7uHlq3Xobw.html a while back and gives a good look at the shepherds sling's power. It's just testing but it shows it could be done. I am going to make one of these and test it on rabbits myself in a future episode. Cheers, Wozza.

@@wozzasboomerang hi wozza its great to talk to an ozzie. Im only half an oz unfortynately waggawagga. If you make a sling use a leather split poutch. And if you want speed and power make a paracord four braided(platted not round) retainer; and a 3 plat release. Then try it against a one to one sling. Youl notice that it moves faster; the resolution of the sling is way faster than one to one. Youl feel it. Then use 1 to 1 and youl say yuk! I hate it. You can actually hear whose using what; and theres a definite way the poutch opens better. I make my poutches a bit diferent than just a rectangle with splits in the end overlapped. Mine are bulgier in the center then slim down towards the strings then get wider again. Then i overlap the splits as normal in clockwise fashion so the sling twists natually in the open right handed release. The way the poutch us made it spits the projectile out. After youv made your release; the release cord does no job at all other than getting in the way. So flat plats aid in conserving the retaining energy then wip out of the way with a crack! I put 8mm retaining nuts thru cinderblocks. But mostly my garage wall by accident. And all my cans of paint.

maybe a golf ball and driver would be higher probability…you’re probably getting hungry using that thing by now …what did they do in ozzyland …take away your guns? you’ve probably heard…guns kill…and when that boomerang finally does, they may want to take those too….better get a good driver and a few golf balls just in case … in the meantime, i have a great recipe for oatmeal…

Yes. It's not easy, but it can be done. Capturing it on film is harder.

I don't think I have ever seen evidence of anyone killing anything with a boomerang. Nice try though.

First impressions are everything especially with KZread videos so I don't think I'll be watching anything else you've done after that disappointment. They should call you wally instead of Wozza.

Wozza dude is throwing with the wrong hand...boomerang won't work upside down! No wonder this guy is so skinny... maybe try cocking your arm when you are expecting a target...might gain some weight.
