Which makes no sense. I wouldn't be entertained by watching Steph play against high schoolers. Someone being very good and the competition being underwhelming gets old very fast.

Which is wild to say because there were a lot of really good college players before Caitlin and still more now. The issue is all branding, and the way people positioned her as the great white hope and angel Reese as the evil one is what drove that hype. Meanwhile had Paige Bueckers never got hurt no one would be talking about Caitlin. Stories is what people like, and regardless of whether it’s right or not, everyone loves a good bad vs good story on sports

Bullshit. A'ja Wilson is a better player than Clark and has been in the W. Sabrina Ionescu, who almost beat Steph in the 3-point contest, is in the W. Breanna Stewart, 4-time champion at UCONN, is in the W. And there are many others.

@@unwishfulthink Fair enough. But the OP is one of these bigots who has been saying for years that no one in the WNBA is any good and now thinks CC is the GOAT. What's this fool gonna say when A'ja wins MVP and outplays CC, Ionescu outshoots CC, and B. Stewart dominates her?? CC is great, but there have been like 10+ women's players I've seen over the years who were as good as her. They were just on better teams so they didn't shoot 30 times a game.

Yeah.. something tells me you took something a LITTLE out of context on Bird at least. In 20 seconds I found recent video of Bird saying that Clark is like the new wave and going to save womens basketball like Jordan and Bird did for the NBA. Bird going to Iowas shoot around to meet everyone. Saying it’s tougher competition =/= not ready. Did Kobe or Jordan bend the knee when LeBron first came in the league? Didn’t happen. Why should it here? Bird is a stand up dude. All class and isn’t a hater. Some of these others though, yeah.. definitely a lot of hate going round.

Let’s be real, the WNBA players don’t like her because she’s a straight white girl from Iowa. She’s not the “type” that they wanted to become the face of their league. Candace Wiggins talked about the poor treatment she got as a straight player in a league of mostly LGBT women years ago, and Ionescu is dealing with it now. It’s unfortunate because Clark would change the league and help elevate players of all races and orientations, it’s just pettiness and jealousy holding it back.

Just a bunch of haters that can’t get over the jealousy they have against other women, nothing new there. I know a guy who runs a medical coding business and before 2020 had approximately 45 women working in one building and he said it was worse than babysitting a classroom of 3yr olds. He told me the best thing that ever happened was the coof in 2020 because it allowed all of them to work from home and since he had software that allowed him to monitor who was actually working and who logged in but just walked away from their computers and just talked or text on their phone all day. He got rid of a dozen lazy ones and kept all the good coders and allowed them all to continue working from home so he didn’t have to deal with the office drama of the youngest & prettiest girl getting hate from all the other girls and at least one girl crying everyday. Most women are to jealous & vindictive towards other women to run anything unless you need it run into the ground.

Caitlin is arguably the best female 🏀 player can't compete in the Big 3 League against former NBA and European great men players. The height, athletic abilities, speed, quickness, endurance, and leaping of top-tier men, even a current non NBA player, isn't fair to compete against the best women players. I think Mulkey said it best in the interview after shaking Clark's hand/embracing her. Mulkey said that Clark's game is just like the other greats. The greats make you better. They almost change the game by being so good. The others will have to jump up to her level in order to actually compete.
