Tips to hosting your first lolita / ouji meet

A few tips to hosting to first lolita meet :) The summary has been provided below for the quick abridged version of this video.
In general, going to other people’s meets before making your own will make your meet more successful due to other people’s familiarity with you
.
For meets that require bookings / high tea meets

- Pop down a poll to see when people are free, cross-check venue availability, request for payment first before making the booking (to avoid being out of pocket - the sending of funds in confirmation of coming), then make a booking.
-Posts to pop on the event: dietary requirements, transport options/parking, terms and conditions for pulling out, general reminder post ( eg: haha if your cheap enough - bring takeaway containers to bring any of your high tea food you don't end up eating, medical things for those who need it (Eg EpiPens for allergies etc)
Casual meets
-Expect varying attendance numbers due to the casual nature of the meet.
- Often just open to the whole group, come or don't come sort-a event.
General notes
-Keep yourself safe and avoid giving out any personal details
-Requesting for payment - PayPal goods and services will charge a fee - keep this in mind if you don’t want to be out of pocket.
-If you're a minor - best to avoid any fancy paid-to-book events as often they might require your bank card details.
